I watched the Adam Sandler movie "The Wedding Singer" once a day, every day for like 2 weeks straight back in 2000(ish). I was a middle school kid on Summer break at the time.

I'm not sure why I was so fixated on it. I guess it was an escape for me somehow.

Weird.... I was gonna post on this thread with the same movie. This one and big lebowski. I've seen wedding singer more than any other movie.

Now that I think about the OP's question a little more deeply, there are two movies that I have rewatched immediately after my first viewing:

Back To The Future
Dune (Denis V. version)

Both extremely deserving of an immediate rewatch.

Watched "Wedding Crashers" almost every day an entire semester because it was on HBO almost nonstop.

I'd like to be pimps from Oakland or cowboys from Arizona but it's not Halloween. Grow up Peter Pan! Count Chocula!

Mine is totally random. Was in eight grade in 1988 and our Friday night ritual was to go to the mall and then a movie that was next door to the mall.

We saw She's Having a Baby (Kevin Bacon) several weekends in a row because at the time it was out it was the only movie worth sitting through at this theater.

My friend and I watched dumb and dumber so many times we could pretty much run through every Harry and Lloyd lines in the movie. Better yet we each could switch between Harry and Lloyd. Let's just long roads had his dad feeling like Joe on many occasions.

When I was a kid, I'd watch half baked practically every night. Never even smoked just would always pop in the tape and go to sleep to some fun stoner comedy.

After an internship that ended after spring break senior year, I had nothing but time on my hands. Every morning I'd fumble downstairs and watch Anchorman for like 6 weeks straight. It's unwatchable to me now.

Another great one is Clue for me too. My sister and I watched it probably a hundred times. Still can.

Here's a good article on the making and how nuts it was:

Holy Grail. Watched it every chance I got. This was in the Dark Ages before VCRs, and the only way to watch British comedy was our local PBS station.

Ghostbusters. Saw it 11 times in the theater the summer it was released. My buddy and I would get to the ticket booth, intending to see something else, and then buy another ticket to Ghostbusters anyway.

Damn near had Holy Grail memorized in college. Same with Dazed and Confused
I watched both of these movies in the last week. Been a long time since i last saw Holy Grail. I'll watch Dazed and Confused a couple of times a year.

Caddyshack in college when our cable was cut off. We had Caddyshack on VHS and watched it every night for a month until we got the cable service back.

Went to Spain after my fish year at A&M. High school buddy and I went to visit the foreign exchange student that came to our high school. We survived with our very minimal Spanish speaking ability because most of the folks we encountered over there spoke English much better than our Spanish, but TV was all no bueno for us.

Thankfully, Jose's family had a VCR and a lone copy of The Blues Brothers. Had never seen it, but watched it every night for 5 days straight.

As a kid, my brother and I watched Batman (Keaton) and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? virtually daily for 2 straight summers.

Mrs. Doubtfire

Movie came out in '93, and almost every weekend in '94, I had to go with my grandparents to my great-aunt's house because she was lonely, or something.

There wasn't really anything to do there after spending 30 or so minutes playing basketball by myself, she didn't have cable/satellite, and the only VHS she had that was of any entertainment value to a kid in '94 was that movie.

Wouldn't be surprised if I watched it at least 24 times in that year alone.

My junior year at A&M I had the American Psycho DVD in my TV for at least 2 months and watched most or all of it nightly. Eventually my girlfriend asked me why I was talking "like that" and that's when I realized I probably needed to change movies.

Epic opportunity to break up with her and tell her you have to return some video tapes.

I'm ashamed to admit this but I watched "Me, Myself, and Irene" way too often the second semester of my freshman year.

I was going through a bad breakup at the time so wasn't in a great headspace.
