Had a great time seeing the current Vixen lineup and Autograph on the cruise! They all played great. This is the Vixen lineup minus the drummer and add in Downtown Julie Brown. And me who has zero musical ability.

those two on the left look like there weren't even alive when Vixen hit the scene lol.

this can only be one method since his quantity of numbers doesn't match the amount of people in the pic.

My method: The people in the pic are numbered from left to right. Left is 1 and the one on the right is in the 5 position. I then rank them as to order of preference. The 5 position ranks as the top choice. The dude in the number 3 position doesn't receive a rank. He is sifted out of consideration for one obvious reason.

correct. that is the method I'm referring to and the only one that could be used here.

The other method used by the person who said 'you must have a thing for doctors' couldn't be used here because he only put 4 numbers, yet there are 5 people. You would arbitrarily have to assume which person is left out of the ranking.

It gets even better. Just noticed Bob Weir and Wolf Bros are playing at the Ryman on Saturday so scored a pair to that too. moe. Thursday, Ags Friday (and hopefully Sat and Sun), and Weir Saturday. This could be shaping up to be one of the best weeks ever!
Dear diary story gets worse just when I thought it couldn't get better. I noticed on Tuesday night 1 am/Wednesday morning that I could change my flight to go to Franklin to catch the Martin Sexton show. Top 5 singer all time for me.

I immediately got on the horn with United Airlines and got it switched, snagged 5th row center single ticket for Martin at historic Franklin Theater, got to Houston airport today for 2:32 departure, Flight delayed by 55 minutes. Went and had a couple beers, walked up to gate at 3.05 only to be notified flight got canceled. No other flights out to Nashville. Missed the entire thing.

**** United Airlines and the industry in general.

Been a tough pill to swallow all day. They gave me a hotel voucher for Holiday Inn. Depart tomorrow at 9:50 am. If I miss moe. there will be blood.

I hope your luck changes soon. I still remember seeing Martin nearly 20 years at ACL Fest for the first time and being completely blown away. The dude is so talented. I was at one of his gigs 10+ years ago, and the show was basically ruined by chatty and disrespectful *******s. Houston gonna Houston.

I really hate these 3-year livenation deals where they just take the same artists and swap them as headliners, co-headliners, headliners....

Until we get two bands I really like co-headlining.

Got offered free tickets to Alterbridge and Mammoth WVH tonight. I don't know the music of either for the most part.

Do they put on good live shows?

Define good?

I've never seen them, but know them, and can't imagine it's much more than the musicians standing around playing. They probably sound fantastic.

But it ain't no Muse or Tool show.

Mammoth WVH was very good when I saw them open for GnR two years ago.

he didn't ask if they were good when they play live. Yes, those two bands are comprised of top notch musicians.

he asked if they put on a good live show. And I asked him to define what he thinks is good.. because in my mind, a good live show is the likes of muse or tool.

Yeah. That's what I'm asking.

I'll have to shuffle some things to make this happen. And even free tickets will end up with costs tonight I wasn't planning for, which isn't huge, it's just a matter of do I want to commit time and dollars to a show for artists I don't know and a show that could be what you said. Great musicians standing their playing.

It's only been them 4 since day 1. Myles did the slash thing for a while, and creed was back together at some point.

Funny in the wiki 'with increasing tension between stapp and other members, creed broke up in June of 2004.
Coincidentally, Alter bridge first single open your eyes was released in June 2004.'

It's like you break up with your girlfriend, and then a few weeks later she's with another man and starting to show.

Always wondered how that dynamic was between 2/3 dudes who made tens of millions of dollars, in a band with a singer whose previous band sold a few thousand copies lol.

Sorry I misunderstood the question. To me the sound is 95% of the show. I guess that's why I prefer club shows over large venues.

Question for the concert experts here: Do Rodeo shows like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo count as legitimate concerts?

I've seen a ton of bands there, from Kiss to Journey to George Strait, and I like to count them as real concerts, but they're a light version. One hour show of greatest hits with 30 to 50 yards of dirt between the crop and performer.

It did get better. And I love your appreciation of Martin. He's one of the best and I feel like so either unknown or underappreciated.

moe. in Nashville killed it as dis Bob Weir at the Ryman Saturday. What a trip. My picture at the Ryman sucks but it happened.
