Hadn't seen these guys in a decade.. think I might hit up this Denver stop since it's close to my house. Man I loved what these guys put out in the 2000s. Saw them 3-4 times in those early days.

Everybody be skipping Houston this summer tour season.

Interesting that they're doing the amphitheater circuit this time. They've been doing arenas almost exclusively since The Resistance Tour in 2009/10.

Went to see Zach Williams and Third Day at the Moody Center in Austin last. Both were awesome, sounded great!

They are Christian bands. Doubt Third Day tours anytime soon again as this was a reunion tour. If you are a Christian, I would encourage you to go see Zach Williams if you get a chance.

Don't know Williams, but I do remember Third Day's early stuff. Conspiracy #5 is some quality work.

Anybody been to Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land? Billy Strings pre-sale tomorrow morning and public onsale on Friday.

I only looked at pictures online and the place looks sweet. And small compared to the venues they typically play these days. Dickie's pre-sale tomorrow as well.

It's a great place to see a show. Do you need the presale code for tomorrow?

Great to hear. I signed up through Seated on Billy's site so they are supposed to send it tomorrow morning around 9:30 AM. Did you somehow get it already?

I've seen Brit Floyd there twice and Lindsey Stirling once. It's a good venue.

Buy the prepaid parking.

Get there early so you aren't waiting in line on the feeder road of 59 to turn onto the driveway that takes you to the parking lot.

Just checked the email and it's a presale for Thursday. The code is "time".

Why aren't you taking your own advice and going there for a fourth time? C'mon, man.

The Billy tour is interesting. Lots of big venues with some small theater dates attached. For example two nights at Ball Arena in Denver and one night at Paramount Theatre (1,800 capacity).

Smoothie King Center in NOLA with the night before at Saenger Theatre.

The Orpheum Theatre in LA the night before the Forum.

No big Moody Austin this year which is a bummer but I think Austin City Limits taping not yet announced will be the 2026 ender the day after Dickies.

No NYE run again for the second straight year blows.

I got the email for paramount Denver. It's a special deal to get in, not a normal ticket sale.
Probably similar in the other markets.

Holy **** I thought the order of horrible ticketing sites went AXS and then TM until just now getting tickets through the site that Sugar Land venue uses.

Got the presale code at 9:30 (YALLCOME). Got on their site right away. refreshed at 9:59 and got the purchase tickets now button the second it was live. Puts me in line for over 10 minutes. Then says "line paused" and asks for my email address so they could notify me when to revisit the site. What the hell is that?

I stayed on the page and finally get in at 10:22. Plenty of good seats available. Tried for the next 40 minutes to grab dots on the map and put them in my cart and got sorry these tickets are no longer available over FIFTY times!

Was trying for four. Settled for two as I was about totally tap out and told my other two friends you're on your own. And the pair I snagged are far left section when looking at the stage. Not sure if even good. They are down low though.

Getting PIT/GA for Dickies was a breeze in and out in under a minute. And now I need a nap.

And now you know why I haven't been back a fourth time.

I had no idea that Billy Strings was coming to Houston until this morning when I concidentally clicked on this thread at 10:30 am. I started clicking around for tickets and realized I was 40 minutes into day 1 of presale. I lost 3 sets of good tickets (no longer available) before I scored a pretty decent pair. Glad I wasn't the only one getting smashed around by ATG Tickets.

So unless this is an elaborate April Fools joke, I completely lucked out and fell ass-backwards into tickets for one of my favorite concerts.

Yeah I don't know how that will succeed. I mean it's 15 minutes from me so I root for it on that account, but I hate the firepit design of the place, and if you are touring why would you want to add a couple hours to your journey by coming that far south? If I was a booker I'd much rather hit Woodlands so that I just skirt the edge of town in between hitting D/FW and Austin, or Toyota Center right off I-10 coming from Louisiana or San Antonio/Austin. The location just doesn't seem appealing to me.

might be targeting second leg/secondary market tours.

Like, I saw opeth in 2025 in Denver. Then the tour continued for a second leg and it came to Colorado Springs (quote unquote different market). It was a 45 minute drive for me to both shows since I'm far south Denver.

Just an idea anyway.

The operator of the Colorado Springs venue is the one building this Webster amphitheater.

What's the best way to find out about concerts besides the artists directly or Texags? I would have completely missed the Billy Strings sale if not for seeing it here! I'm on the Billy Strings mailing list NOW, but I wonder how many presales I've missed to shows that I would love to see.

You talking about the ford amphitheater?

Yeh, looking at it now, there are two amphitheaters within 45 miles of each other. Ford and Fiddlers green.

Ford is only 8k though, Fiddlers is twice that.
