Everybody be skipping Houston this summer tour season.
Interesting that they're doing the amphitheater circuit this time. They've been doing arenas almost exclusively since The Resistance Tour in 2009/10.

In August at that.

Anybody been to Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land? Billy Strings pre-sale tomorrow morning and public onsale on Friday.
I only looked at pictures online and the place looks sweet. And small compared to the venues they typically play these days. Dickie's pre-sale tomorrow as well.
I got the email for paramount Denver. It's a special deal to get in, not a normal ticket sale.johnnyblaze36 said:
Why aren't you taking your own advice and going there for a fourth time? C'mon, man.
The Billy tour is interesting. Lots of big venues with some small theater dates attached. For example two nights at Ball Arena in Denver and one night at Paramount Theatre (1,800 capacity).
Smoothie King Center in NOLA with the night before at Saenger Theatre.
The Orpheum Theatre in LA the night before the Forum.
No big Moody Austin this year which is a bummer but I think Austin City Limits taping not yet announced will be the 2026 ender the day after Dickies.
No NYE run again for the second straight year blows.
might be targeting second leg/secondary market tours.Jim01 said:
Yeah I don't know how that will succeed. I mean it's 15 minutes from me so I root for it on that account, but I hate the firepit design of the place, and if you are touring why would you want to add a couple hours to your journey by coming that far south? If I was a booker I'd much rather hit Woodlands so that I just skirt the edge of town in between hitting D/FW and Austin, or Toyota Center right off I-10 coming from Louisiana or San Antonio/Austin. The location just doesn't seem appealing to me.

Like, I saw opeth in 2025 in Denver. Then the tour continued for a second leg and it came to Colorado Springs (quote unquote different market). It was a 45 minute drive for me to both shows since I'm far south Denver.
Just an idea anyway.

The operator of the Colorado Springs venue is the one building this Webster amphitheater.
