I don't know if this was meant to be only for musicians, but the first name that came to my head is Meryl Streep. People obviously think she's a great actress as she has won many awards, but I can't think of a single movie of hers I like.

to be fair a lot of popular singers of the last 10-15 years although there are some that i recognize are talented and don't mind. a few are really talented. those are just the worst imho.

So far the answers have been pretty much rock based so I'll deviate for my first response.
100% of the time when this type of ? arises my immediate thought is Barbara Streisand. In my mind she has zero redeeming qualities. Ugly from snout to tail.
Agree w/several mentioned - Rush (mainly due to Getty), Springsteen, Radiohead, etc.
Most red dirt and TX country. I've been to more of these shows than I've ever needed - REK, Cory Morrow, Pat Green, Cross Canadian Ragweed, etc. THey all have songs I can sing the words to, but I try as I did to "Fake it till you make it" because most of my friends at one time loved the stuff...can't do it other than a handful of songs I can enjoy.
Dio - I love 80's rock and metal but I just cannot get into Dio. I watched his recent documentary hoping to catch a spark. nope. Seems like he was a really great guy but I just can't get into it.

I like Stapleton but not near as much as I used to. Just burned out on him.

Neil Young and Bob Dylan are great but I understand if people don't like them. They don't have classically gifted vocals which can be off-putting. I'm also a big fan of Tom Waits.
For me Dave Matthews Band is probably #1 on my list. I've seen them live a couple of times and was bored to tears. I'm not a huge Springsteen fan either but I think I'd enjoy the live show if I ever see him.

Try the River Wild sometime if you haven't seen it. I think that one is pretty good and she is the lead.
I can get there with Streep at least on the talent side, but I get the not liking her films part. I do not understand why Jennifer Lopez is even famous. Why is she both a recording artist and an actress? Why would a person buy a Jennifer Lopez album or single? Why would a person watch one of her movies? I don't understand.
