Beating Ninja Gaiden. I did it on the NES online version with save states and it was still the hardest thing I've done.

A lot of the NES games are ridiculously hard, even with cheats.

I did land on the aircraft carrier on the first try on Top Gun.
Mario 64 wasn't that hard but it is a fun game. Might have to get my 64 out and play it again.

Did you ever get a perfect score on any of the Cuphead bosses? I've started playing recently and I've gotten a perfect score on The Root Pack and Goopy Le Grande.

Hell no, the most I've gotten is B tier I think. I'm just happy beating it!

Did you beat all nine King Dice mini bosses? Also, they released Cuphead DLC last year, if you're interested in it.

It took me 14 seasons, but I won a national championship as the University of Houston on NCAA Football 2006 on the PS2. In 4 different seasons I finished 12-0 or 13-0 and didn't even finish in the top 5

I was once trapped on a warehouse in Battlefield 2 with a helicopter trying to wait me out.

Other players kept swarming the place, and I knew if I stayed, I'd be overrun.

So I decided to bolt, even though all I had was a pistol and a sniper rifle.

Sniper rifle in hand, I flew out of the warehouse, and head shot the pilot in flight, without aiming, on the run, through an obscured windshield, at about 200 meters.

It was before everyone could replay their accomplishments.

Alas!

Second event, same Battlefield 2 game.

I saw a multi-player squad moving in formation come around a Boulder.

I was too close to aim, so I rushed them. About 8 players.

I knifed the 1st. Then the second. Was waiting yo get shot down at any second, just trying to get as many as I could.

I knifed the whole squad. If you've played, you know how long the stab mechanic takes. I thought I'd get 2 or maybe 3 before getting leveled.

To this day, I have no idea how no one could draw a bead before I killed them all.

I hope you yelled Leeeeroooyy Jeeennnnkinnnz!!! when you went on your stabbing spree.

I used to play waaay too much Konami Quarterback.

One day when I was bored and had $5 to blow I went and decided to see how many yards I could get running the same play every time.

I ran the Sneak every play but ran it wide like I was going to option. Ran for over 1,000 yards that game and won 297-0. Missed a field goal as time expired to not end up getting 300-0.

Also used to dominate Cyberball back in the day.

Nothing elite but pulled off some crazy stuff on Hell Let Loose the last couple years. Leaping from some crates on top of a Tiger rolling across Ludendorf bridge and placing a satchel charge on it to prevent it from joining an assault on our defensive point felt insanely awesome. Just random stuff like that, but I spend 90% of my time on that game getting schwacked.

I beat every level of Marble Madness (arcade & NES), and I beat every level of Mercury Meltdown Revolution (Wii). That mercury game on Wii may be the greatest puzzle game ever made…

When the first Gran Turismo came out, I spent the entire summer of my 7th grade year building out a Honda Civic hatchback that could do a 10-second quarter mile pass. Took so many tire combinations and gear ratio tinkering, but I did it.

I'm maxed in RuneScape and now I don't know what to do.

Beat Ocarina of Time glitchless in less than 8 hours.

My team at one point was the highest ranked "clan" in the world at Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, and I was ranked #1 in the world with the Panzerschreck

Spring of 1990, we'd get 100 tokens for $20 at Diamond J's. We'd get a pack of Marlboro Lights and 2 player the game Willow.

I once solved it on one life.

I've only played the first five bosses in Cuphead (I've beaten The Root Pack, Goopy Le Grande and Ribby and Croaks) and I don't have a favorite, but my least favorite is Cagney Carnation. I don't have the DLC yet.

Hollow Knight is the toughest game I've ever played when it comes to boss fights. I got lucky with a few of them but for the most part, there's no way to just brute force through them. You need the patience to learn their attacks inside out, learn to counter them, and find the best combo of charms that will work for your strategy.

How is Cuphead comparatively to HK? Has anyone completed both?
lethalninja
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I don't know how it is compared to Hollow Knight, but the main focus of Cuphead is the boss fights (there's some platforming stages, but they're optional and only the boss fights are required to beat the game). If you're trying to get a perfect score on all the bosses, it's pretty hard. After you beat the game, you unlock expert mode, which makes the fights even harder.

GRAW 2 - Multiplayer, usually games are like 10 v 10 or whatever...everyone got dropped due to a bad connection but me on my team and it was me versus 2 other players, won the match 50-2.

Counterstrike 2 - Same deal, players dropped and it was me vs 2 others; snuck up behind one and knifed him for the kill, picked up his rifle and no scoped the 2nd player instantly through the window.

Ah, those were simpler times...

I would say basegame of HK is easier than CH. Some of the HK extra content is problably harder though (Pantheon, Path of Pain).

I've heard cuphead is tough. If you are looking for a game similar to HK with some heavy Zelda influences, check out Tunic. Free on game pass right now.

The Ori games are also awesome.
