And how many times (exact or estimated?)

For me it's Dave Matthews Band. Started going to their concerts once a year when I was 14 (now 35) and then double dipped in a handful of years as I got older. I think I'm at 28. This year will be for sure 29 in the Woodlands and possibly 30 if I head up to Dallas the next night.

Gov't Mule

Probably seen them 14-15 times dating back to the late 90's. Saw them in NOLA once and also did Dallas/Austin/Houston one weekend about a decade ago.

When I was living in Austin back in the '90s I used to go see the Asylum Street Spankers play the at the Electric Lounge a lot, too many times to count. If I remember correctly they played there every Wednesday. I always thought that was a bit ironic that they played there because their novelty was that they didn't use mics or amps.

Other than that I've seen Eric Johnson 5 times.

Back in the Austin days: Vallejo, Soulhat, Sunflower, Steamroller, Joe Rockhead/Scabs/Bob Schneider-band probably 5 times each. Joe King Carrasco, SRV, Will Sexton at least twice apiece. I'm sure I'm leaving out someone - I saw a ton of live music in clubs back then.

San Antonio present day era: Ruben V 6 or 7 times, Hayes Carll, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, Kenny Chesney, the Eagles (oddly enough) two or three times each.

Yeah, I've mellowed.

There are several bands I've seen 50+ times. Maybe even 100 times. That said, they were all (fairly successful) regional bands that would do an occasional national/international tour, most of which are no longer together. The one that is, I haven't seen in concert in at least 15 years. I was also friends with all those guys.

As for "bigger" acts. I've seen DMB 9 or 10 times, but probably not in the last 20 years. Tool probably 10 times. Better than Ezra probably 15 times. Muse 5 times, I think. Ray Lamontagne 7 or 8 times. Probably a whole bunch more in the 5+ range. Concerts use to be a big part of my life.

For popular world wide known bands:
Since they've toured together so many times in some combo (2 of 3 or 3 of 3) over the last decade, I'm fairly certain it's one of Def Leppard, Poison, and Motley Crue. At least 8-9 times each.

Megadeth - 7 times
AIC - 5 times (post- Layne era )

Now if we're talking Texas country:
20+ times each for Roger Creager, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers

Yeah I excluded Texas country. Couldn't even remember how many times I saw that late 90's - 2010 crew of singers.

Trying to think of some others...

Avett Brothers - 5
Lyle Lovett - 5
Trampled by Turtles - 3
Arcade Fire - 3
Muse - 3

Living in Houston, probably Bun B. Not always on purpose either. He is/was just always the surprise guest, or just randomly there to perform. Had to have been at least 30 times over the years.

Avett Brothers for sure for me.

3 different Avett at the Beach events with 3 shows each. I have seen them at ACL at least 2 times. Just saw them in Dallas. Saw them at the Gorge. White water this past year. I did miss another Austin show for a broken arm in one of my kids. I am sure I am missing a couple too.

Otherwise bands I've seen at least 4 times

Turnpike 5 and 2 of them Evan was sober

Back in the day saw Cowboy Mouth 5+ times
Seen Wilco 5+ times

Very jealous of these 3! Which concert was your favorite from each of them, if you had to pick?
