How do you know they came from the stars, as opposed to another dimension, or our distant past here on Earth?

How do you know they didn't create us, thus allowing them to be able to bread with us?

I'm not saying I believe any of those things, I'm just pointing out that your skepticism is based on a number of assumptions.

Although my own Apostolic (Catholic / Orthodox) worldview minimizes this, close textual analysis Protestants have been really good at highlighting that:

2nd Temple era authors, meaning about 200 BC to 200 AD, really did believe, and assumed their audience believed, that humans had relations with "non-human" cosmic entities that were….human enough.

Therefore, at a minimum, billions of people since then have venerated texts that took such lusty interactions as an obvious fact.

It is important to be precise with language.

If Jesus was God in human form, then he was alien to earth, -non-terrestrial, and -extra (depending upon definition).
(And I believe, following Anne Catherine Emmerich, that Adam and Eve were non-terrestrial cosmic entities hurled to earth from a real place "connected" to earth)

And yet, human. Were we also, in a lesser sense? ….did we have a consciousness "before" birth? It's reasonable theological speculation, especially if consciousness is what we "tune into," or "receive."
