If I had to name *the* primary reason for the cover-up, it would be this. In fact, I'd go in this order...

1. To ensure that the technology stays out of the hands of not just our enemies but also Joe Schmo. Either one manages to reverse engineer it and the balance of power is instantly upended. You control gravity (and thus space-time) you control the world.

2. To cover up the crimes our government (and primarily their aerospace contractors) have sanctioned/committed to ensure the secret is kept/the technology isn't leaked.

3. So that our government doesn't have to admit that we don't own our airspace/oceans, thus eroding public confidence.

4. The risk of mass panic.

5. The risk of ontological shock.

Even if we do have control of gravity and have cracked the code, point number 3 points to there being something even beyond that. The 4chan whistleblower is starting to look legit more and more after more revelations about the ships in the bottom of the oceans get legs.

I listened to this podcast during my last work trip. It's very good and helps to piece together the insane mass of tentacles number 2 points at.

Great list. I have been trying to think of something add. Maybe shaking up/disrupting the accepted version of history (not religion) but I guess that might go with #5. I've been leaning more and more to there being some pretty advanced civilizations thousands of years ago that were wiped out, and the alien stuff might be tied/ linked to it.
As a human, the list should be turned upside down, but I guess for a government it's worry about yourself first. And I kind of get that.

My thought is that there WONT be much of a mass panic or shock. It's easy to just point out that we have been living for thousands of years with this going on without our knowledge. Just because we now know, won't put us in any more danger than before we knew.

New interview from Grusch, and man is it refreshing to hear him talk positively on the subject. Even the most well-intentioned, well-informed in the field often resort to threat assessments, cryptic warnings, or hint at some existential malevolent "truth." Agree. Here's an important point for anyone who venerates the Bible:

Ancient Near East authors, which included editors and compilers, 300 BC through St. John and St.Polycarp his scribe, ASSUMED that cosmic entities had sexual relations with humans. And, they absolutely assumed angels (messengers, function not category of being) unaware. 1 Enoch (meaning, that verified by Dead Sea scrolls) was indisputably venerated.

Not to get too UFO-brained, and I'm not at all saying I believe this connection, but there was a lot of chatter beforehand that Trump was going to announce the release of the UFO files at the Correspondent's Dinner tonight. Now, a shooter somehow got past an insane amount of security, fired shots in the lobby, and disrupted the entire thing, to the point of likely cancellation. Granted, Trump obviously doesn't need a formal dinner event to announce the release of the files, and the shooter more than likely was a leftist lunatic or right winger who hates the media or an Iranian or whatever. I'm merely pointing out that the timing is curious, especially with all the missing scientists/General McCasland, etc.

People create private X accounts (no followers) and generate thousands of posts with names and events. When they get a hit years later on one of those posts, they delete all other posts and then make the account public to claim they knew the future.
