LOL all the talk lately has completely jumped the shark IMO. Everyone just trying to outdo everyone else with ridiculous, nonsensical claims that of course can't be verified or disproven. I fully admit to waffling when it comes to my levels of belief and skepticism, they rise and fall, and lately, as more and more stupid and stupider stuff is being claimed, it's got me almost 100% skeptic. If these people I'm supposed to believe are clearly willing to lie about some of it, then they are willing to lie about all of it, because there would be no need to add false stuff to the true stuff if the true stuff was true. And if these people I'm supposed to believe will themselves believe literally anything, and be duped by anything, then clearly they aren't objective and they lack discernment. And I'm sorry but it is obvious to anyone with even a little discernment that an enormous amount of what's being put out now is just comically, fantastically, stupidly false.
That said I am still interested, I want it to be true, I have opinions/theories that allow it to be true without conflicting with my faith or my worldview, I still hope we get some sort of real proof of *something*, but the fact is, we have nothing and with each passing week, the people we're supposed to believe are looking less and less credilbe IMO. Do you schedule these posts? Like, was there a trove of them stored up and scheduled a couple years ago to post once every six weeks or so? I've said it before and I'll say it again - skepticism is healthy. But whatever this is, it's so obvious that it's coming from a deep, desperate need for this reality not to be true.
