Matt needs to take a shot. Or get out of the way and allow cerie/America to take jag out

It's to the point in the game where alliances are not paramount. When it gets down to these numbers, you get out the biggest threat. Full Stop. Build a late stage resume that will resonate and linger with the jury.

Matt is on record saying he will target Jag at final four. I suspect that is why he wants to "throw" the next comp. However, if Jag survives not being HOH, he is eligible to play again.

After Blue is evicted, you HAVE TO target Jag (either straight on or backdoor.) It's really the only way to get him. But, you have to beat him in veto as well.

I was wondering about this and how much longer it was than other seasons. Roughly 20-25 days. It seemed longer but I hadn't read anything about it. I feel like I remember it being more of a summer show and having more college kids on it.

It usually starts in June. I figure they delayed it until the Fall to make up for the lack of scripted content due to the strikes.

Summary wrap up:

Blue is evicted by 4-0. In her interview Blue said she was going after Matt and Jag

Bowie wins HoH. It was 7 rounds of questions where they had to answer questions of 3 BB movie posters. Matt and Bowie went to a tiebreaker in the end. I don't think anyone was trying to throw it but is everyone really that bad at competitions? I always wonder how big is the screen for them to look at when answering.

Matt win PoV and did not use it.

America is evicted by 3-0.

Looks like everything went according to plan like how they wanted it to. HoH is later tonight.

No, he will wait since he cannot play for HoH next week and would have no protection unless he can win the veto

Scenario: Felicia gets evicted this week. That leaves Jag/Cirie/Bowie eligible for HOH. If Jag wins is Matt safe? I say yes. Cirie will target Jag? Bowie will target Cirie?

Matt may never get the chance to swing at Jag, unless someone else does it through proxy.

Bowie is a threat in non-physical comps. That may get her evicted sooner.

I did enjoy Cirie "feeding" information to Felicia knowing it would end up landing on Jag's doorstep.

Matt nominated Felicia and Cirie. He really seems to be in it to the end with Jag and Bowie but mainly Jag.

I don't see Cirie surviving the block this week. If I am Matt and Jag, I would drag Felicia and Bowie to final four.

Nightmare scenario would be if Bowie wins HOH, noms Matt and Jag, and Felicia decides who is evicted.

However, I would LOVE to hear Felicia bloviate on why deserves to win the season.

The interesting thing will be how the jury views Matt saving Jag. Matt might try to argue that Jag was evicted, and the only reason he is still there is because Matt used his special power on him. But that could be viewed as either a positive or a negative.

I don't understand it. You have to make moves to win the game, and nobody seems to realize that.

That's what I especially thought during the secret hoh week. This is huge, someone can nominate whoever and not get blood on their hands! Proceed to nominate the exact same people they would anyway. Then you have the other side in which you need to make moves to have a resume. So would you really want a big move to be a secret.

Except Jag is an absolutely horrible player. Comp wins is not the point of the game and is not what makes you a good BB winner

They should have gave the $5,000 to the person they are voting out, simple jury management

There is a comp component and a social component. To me, they both have value. How much each is worth is up to the jury.
