First of, try your best to not give away the actual twist, but also read this thread at your own risk.

For me, I think The Sixth Sense is the best twist because when you watch it again a second time, you can see the whole thing is right in front of your face the whole time, but no one ever figures it out. So many twists come from the unreliable narrator trope, but I feel like that's often a cheap trick. I like that The Sixth Sense doesn't use that ploy. It's more of a, "Hidden in plain sight." On a second watching, you definitely get a "How did I not figure this out" feeling?

Identity was a good one. You already had the surprise reveal in the middle, so no one expected the twist ending.

It has been a long time since I've seen Se7en, so I don't remember the specifics as to what made me figure it out, but I do remember turning to a friend and calling the ending about half way through. Even though I hadn't seen the movie before and just figured it out, he was pissed that I spoiled it for him. Still a really good movie, though, and figuring out the ending didn't ruin anything for me. It might have actually made it better seeing it unfold and realizing I was right as it went on.

The prestige gets my vote.

But I will say an extremely underrated one I think might be at the top of my list is The Game with Michael Douglas.

That ending blew me away the first time I saw it. Never even considered that as a possibility…
