I was jamming out to Prince when I was in kindergarten. I may not have known what Little Red Corvette and Computer Blue was really about, but I loved those songs. Little girls listening to Taylor Swift will be fine.

The fact that you find it cringe is hilarious.

It feels like there's a virus going around this board, causing certain posters lose their minds, in the weirdest ways, across multiple threads now. More than usual, at least. If so, watching a grown ass man go out of his way - going on three weeks now - to criticize anyone who doesn't fully love the new Taylor Swift album, has to be the most bizarre symptom yet.
Oh we know you need to post 40 times a day.Quote:
I'm pretty sure I can post on a thread I created.

I didn't listen to it, for some reason I just assumed based on the title "I thought the Spotify top 10 couldn't get any worse" would be just him ****ting on popular music.

You can ask the recently housed homeless Veterans I work with if I'm "pretending". Or the patients in my mental health hospital.
Or what about all the charity raffles I run on TexAgs on the food and spirits board where I utilize bourbon to help out The Blue Skies Foundation, brain cancer research, Bluebonnet Trails Community Services for low income folks seeking mental health services. All that requires a lot of posting.
This is an internet message board, which tend to be funny at times and quarrelsome at times.
If you are feeling some type away against me than hopefully we can talk things out one day.

Hell yea, entertainment board tradition. Blasting something without having any idea what is in it.
"Licensed" and "functional" are literally not the same thing.Quote:

Thoughts about this non hyped/undermarketed album causing such a EB **** show?

This is the second time now you've falsely accused me saying this album "didn't have any hype or promotion behind it" or that it was "non hyped."
When, in reality, what I actually said was that it didn't feel like it had been marketed as hard as some of her past albums. Not that it didn't have any marketing behind it. Of course it marketing behind it. This campaign simply didn't feel quite as big as, say, Reputation or Lover.
Which is a crucial distinction.
To answer your question, though, if this board wasn't populated by a handful of overreacting weirdos, there would have been no sh*t show whatsoever.
Says the overreacting weirdo, that couldn't handle any critique, so he had to create another thread where no critiquing was allowed. But then kept coming back here to snap back at any critique.Quote:
Then stop being an overreacting weirdo!

There are a dozen threads or more on this board alone that discuss his song analysis, including this one from just last week.Another Doug said:
Never heard of the dude. But complaining about unoriginal popular music has been low hanging fruit of music critics forever. Popular music that is popular means it gets the job done. Only time will tell if it is memorable.
And there are a million different artists out there taking chances and making original music it's just the masses don't care.
