Great episode. The Campesino family had me in stitches. VVs line to the dad about "you set me up and I respect that" was great.

Shouldn't have tried to personalize the Dragon Queen.
100%! It's rare these days to get a limited series that actually improves as it progresses. Most, like Presumed Innocence, try to stretch the content to get more episodes but the quality drops significantly.Brad 98 said:
Another solid episode. This show keeps getting better and better every week
Did you catch that the son he referenced had the same name as his son in Scrubs? 100% deliberate.LMCane said:Max Power said:
Really enjoying this show. This feels like a movie they just don't make anymore, but stretched it out into a series, and I don't mean that in a bad way. While it's a murder mystery, it's got just the right amount of humor, and not just jokes but the silly things like him getting out of the car to pull a guy's mailbox out of the ground and toss it in his yard, or the stuff he keeps doing to sabotage the house next door. Vince Vaughn is perfectly cast for this show. Only thing throwing me for a loop is Rob Delaney, the last time I saw him he was Peter in Deadpool & Wolverine, and while he looks the same he's playing a very different guy to the point it confuses me every time he's on screen.
I haven't read the Hiassen book but the dialogue sounds like Vince is ad libbing the entire time
just because it seems that is EXACTLY how Vince Vaughan always talks!
great dialogue and casting
While Zach Braff did a good job acting- it's disconcerting to have a scene and say "hey it's Zach Braff!"

The Monaghan back story provides for more Monaghan, which is a great thing.

Not surprised to see zero comments re: last week's episode. Not horrible but definitely the weakest so far. Hope tonight's is better.
She looks NOTHING like the character in the book.Stat Monitor Repairman said:

Only two Yancy books, Bad Monkey and Razor Girl.Bockaneer said:
Hiassen wrote a good series of books so there is definitely more material to work with.
I just wrapped up Razor Girl. I enjoyed it, great way to make a novel about "Florida Man." But a lot of good characters and it flowed.MooreTrucker said:Only two Yancy books, Bad Monkey and Razor Girl.Bockaneer said:

Although his other non-Yancy books are really good, too.
