Didn't do Audible but got Kindle app 10 days ago because of this thread. I just started book 6. I'm sure I'll finish 7 before weekend is over at which point I'll have withdrawal symptoms….

I think the next book comes out this month

I'm glad to see others getting into this series. They are extremely fun books, and amazing audiobooks. The author also seems like a cool guy and is very active on the series subreddit.

I thought 7 books were out already and the 8th was dropping. Just realized it's the 7th book dropping now.

Do I spend $25 so I can read it this weekend or wait till Kindle on Monday? What to do..I'm torn.

Really enjoying this series so far, currently on Gate of the Feral God's. This will be an epic animated series

Just started this a few days ago and already finished the first 3 books. Fantastic. Got the first 3 from the library, but looks like I'm going shopping for the rest.

Everyone says the audiobook is great, but I think my ADD would make books on tape not work for me. Never tried it before, but I don't think my reading style would work. I read quick, but also go back and reread paragraphs, etc., sometimes if I think I missed something. Don't want to keep hitting the rewind button.

This is easily on par with Dresden for me, which I hold as probably my favorite series.

I have an easier time with the audiobooks because it forces me to hear everything. When I read, I often find my thoughts wandering, forcing me to go back. Either way, I would recommend the books because oh how awesome Jeff Hays' narration is. It's on par with Jim Dale's Harry Potter reads.

Finished book 7 this weekend. All I will say is that it delivers.

I want to know who does the "New Achievement!" announcements. That guy has a good humorous tone, as well. Surely it can't be Jeff Hayes, too, right?

He does it all, save Alpha Carl and Raul the Crab. I believe he is also the producer of the series.

I highly recommend this interview if you're a crazy person like me.
