Finished the 3rd book last night. I enjoyed it, but while I'm normally really good at visualizing scenery and what not, that book was tough. I couldn't visualize all the locations and kept losing track of where everyone was. I know the characters were just as lost, too and that was kind of the point, but it still knocked a star or two off. I read that a lot of readers had the same difficulties and that subsequent books weren't like that. Starting book 4 today

On a related note, I really wish they would come out with some kind of companion that would recap all the characters,items, spells, and abilities everyone has. It would also be fun to go back and read all the various achievements and mob descriptions. Could do it in general or sort the companion by book. Would also be cool to have some maps as well. It would be a lot but I think it would sell.

I've been using Gemini a lot to help remember what certain items or spells do, but it gets confused pretty often.

Don't wish for this. In Primal Hunter, every time Jake looks at his own progress the author reprints all his stats, skills, titles, etc. it takes up 4 or 5 pages out of every 50, and it's annoying AF.

Was thinking it could be a stand alone companion, not embedded in the book.

Just finished the 4th book. Again, I liked the 3rd but this was much more enjoyable.

One of the negatives to using the kindle is that it starts at page one. Things like this are only noticed if you randomly back up a few pages. I didn't know that that message existed until after I read all of the books and read about it on this thread.

Im on a reread already after having read the series in February. It is so good. Got the audible version too and got my gf into it. Gave my tattoo artist a copy of the first book when I got my Sick Ass Princess Donut tattoo, trying to get my guitar teacher into it bc I know he'd love it.

Getting ready for a reread myself. My sister just gifted me the entire book series in hardback. Best gift ever! Was planning on it anyways in prep for Book 8 release.

Thats what i ordered. Even with friends at bar we can just run the co-op campaigns for fun. Hard to get enough people involved for a DND full game especially since someone has to DM it.

Just started book 1. I saw some comparisons to the dresdon files on page 1, so I tried it out. Totally worth it.

Feels like its been forever since the last book. I need my fix!
