Just finished the show last night. I didnt see this thread until just now. Stumbled on the show and just decided to watch the first episode to see if the wife and I would like it. We loved it and can't wait for Season 2

Overall I really liked this show. Plenty of good twists that kept you guessing and a plot that had enough reality built into it.

My biggest issues were some times the writing was very good and things done in a way that kept me wanting more. Other times it was so clich I couldn't believe it was the same show.

For example when Billy tells X I have done some bad things and you need to know about what I have done here, but not tonight I will tell you in the morning. You know right then old Billy is dead. I thought it was obvious the President did more than make a mix tape at the library and the cigarette number would be a library catalog number. Xavier daughter leaving the underground hiding area was out of character for her, and you knew she would get caught and used as leverage.

I also didn't understand why Jane shot Sinatra and X didn't turn on her. It was set up for him to kill her and instead we get she survived but out of the picture for a while. It reminded me of Walking Dead when they don't kill Negan.

How far does he expect to get in that little plane? It won't make it to Atlanta on a full tank and I bet it wasn't filled up before take off. Also good luck finding a place to land it.

One tangentially related to your last one.
They've been in that damn cave for 3? years I believe. I have a hard time believing whatever fuel was left in that plane was any good.

I mostly just shrugged my shoulders and moved on.

Just finished binging over the weekend. Fun show. Felt like some of the network series that came out after LOST ended.

I binged this show over the last week and I enjoyed it but it's definitely a step below Silo and Fallout, which I bring up since all three focus on bunkers after the world is destroyed. I will say this show does something at least once an episode that I roll my eyes at. You definitely have to turn off parts of your brain to enjoy this show because there's too many holes and ridiculous happenings to watch it the same way that a better made show would not have put out. Sterling K Brown is great though, he was a really good choice, I have no complaints about what he's been doing in the show. He kind of sticks out in comparison to most of the rest of the cast who feel like they were tailor made for a show of this quality.
