Wait so Paul's kid will be Duncan Idaho's kid IRL?
That won't be confusing at all.

Would highly recommend reading all of Frank Herbert's 6 novels. The last 2 books are the best arc in the series, along with the best character in the series.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:
Welp, I've never read Children of Dune. I stopped after Dune Messiah. I am on a bit of a sci-fi reading streak right now, working through an old Alan Dean Foster novel titled Cachalot, then moving on to Project Hail Mary. After that I am planning a re-read of Dune Messiah. I suppose Children of Dune will follow. But at my reading rate, I have to wonder if I'll make it through CoD prior to the movie's release.
Really hoping for God Emperor and the Honored Matres arcs.Mega Lops said:
Don't see how we don't get a Dune 4 unless 3 is like 4.5 hours.

"There’s supposed to be a character shift. I’m playing 15, 20 years older. So we did a 3 millimetre haircut. And then the director wanted more 1.5, then we did 1."
