David and David "Welcome to the Boomtown"?

Good one. I had that album on cassette way back when.

I loved that album - it was one I actually listened to all the way through, especially the A side.

Was always shocked they did not have a follow-up. They were just two LA session musicians who paired up and made an album. They later both contributed to some Sheryl Crow albums and produced for other artists.

Two other tracks technically charted on the Rock chart anyway.

Swallowed by the Cracks - loved this one

Weren't they part of the actual Tuesday Night Music Club along with the late, incredibly talented Kevin Gilbert?

I know it's technically a collab / side project, but it's amazing to me that The Postal Service never put out another album after Give Up went platinum. Assuming you can consider "Such Great Heights" a hit.
