That's ridiculous, if you're on the verge of going home you should be allowed to play your SID whether you're in a duo or not. Would a duo be restricted from playing multiple idols? I think a duo having multiple SIDs adds to the strategy of team selection and should be an option if this becomes a permanent twist.

They wanted two eliminated. They didn't want to double the odds that one would stay.

Two players would have been eliminated but a duo with multiple SIDs or idols should have a better chance at staying over a team with one or none.

Right. that's why they only let one person do it.

Joe and Tiffany won immunity. Could either one give their necklace to another person? This would have effectively saved another pair and kept Joe/Tiff safe.

The only way that the producers would allow something like this given the format of the vote-off is both of them would have to give up immunity to one team. Same thing with only being able to play on shot in the dark or idol per team. You can say that it is unfair, but the whole system for that vote-off would break down if they allowed anything else.

It looked like she was clearing somewhat of a path, tossing all of them in one direction.

That was kind of a mess. When Jeff was insisting everyone "come at him" in the challenge, I had very strong vibes of Michael Scott insisting everyone roast him because so desperately wanted to be part of the gang of friends. Still enjoyed the episode. More observations later.

Weekly MVPS: Giving out two this week. One to caleblyn, who put up a week high 19 points with his dream team of Jonathan, Joe, Ozzy, and Stephenie. Got him into third place. But just as impressive, give it up for Johnsy3, the only person in the entire contest who has not had any of their players eliminated yet. he is currently in 13th place, but still has bonuses on all 5 of his picks - Cirie, Devens, Emily, Aubry, Jonathan.

I decided to treat the rice thing like a reward challenge and awarded 3/3.5 points each to Jonathan, Tiff, Joe, and Ozzy for outlasting Probst.
Rizzo was first out of the immunity challenge, that's -2 for him.
Joe won, that was an additional +5/+5.5.
Christian went on the journey and lost, that's -2.
Christian got voted out, that's -3.
I considered taking more points from Christian and awarding them to Jonathan for Christian giving Jonathan his shot in the dark, but it's not technically an advantage since everyone has one and Jonathan couldn't do anything with it, so no points.
Joe, for the third time this season, loses a point for misspelling a name. He either wrote Christan or Christaw, but either way, he is a terrible speller.
