This was a love story between two straight men, told in the most emasculating way possible targeting white men. The only normal character is the black woman. Even the kid was ****ed up.

I hope all the writers get AIDS.

On the upside, my gf did have questions about Amazon style, so who knows…maybe something exciting will still happen.

Nah, she wasn't normal...she was a hyper progressive "porn-positive" nympho with a weird husband. Homer was the only normal one. He is into boobs and butts n sexy bras n stuff and thought everyone else was off their rocker.

First half of this series was semi interesting then the back half went off the rails.

I gave up. Didn't finish. It sounds like that was a good idea.

Read an article recently that basically stated what you observed is entirely by design. It comes from research indicating that audiences, especially home audiences on streaming services, are incredibly distracted. Writers are literally being coached to repeat plot points, have redundant conversations, etc, so the viewer is able to keep up because they're likely looking at their phone while watching.

In this series, take the simple notion that "Floyd is not gay". How many different ways do they have to state that? we get it. Keep moving.
I can see this. I hate watching movies/shows with people who spend a significant amount of time with their noses in their phones while watching (my kids are the worst!). They know better now than to ask "what just happened?"

Is that why they slipped in pictures of the crooked ***** and the centerfold pics repeatedly in the final 4 episodes? Seemed largely gratuitous to me after two episodes of it
