Whomever was responsible for this absolute sham needs to be excommunicated; it looks like something demonic. It's apparently a guy wrapped in some sort of flesh appearing blanket, but it looks like a demon.

It is unfortunately not AI.

You can see it in the broadcast from the church

Germany... My ancestors homeland. How can such a people produce such profound errors and yet also give us such beautiful baroque music?

Bach's Christmas oratorio (BWV 248):

If France is the eldest daughter of the Church, Germany is her jealous sister.

The German Church went off the rails with the Synodal Way starting around 2019

The Church is in free fall there

Francis should have nipped it in the bud and kicked people to the curb, but he didn't have the stones

Or maybe he was sympathetic

Dunno, but here we are

Why is it always the Germans?

The Synodal Way set them into a strange spiral

Francis talked tough on occasion, but otherwise did diddly squat

Schism probably around the corner

What were you expecting Pope Francis to do? Just curious.

What did he do to Opus Dei? Or the proponents of the traditional liturgy?

Or the former Bishop of Tyler?

See Strickland

Some purges are more justified than others, right?

Humble brag.

Saw +Strickland last week. He was headed to a neighbors house for a Christmas party. Said hello, he looked good. No subway but strong ankles.

Just goes to show that Rome can act swiftly when they want to. "Will no one rid me of this troublesome priest?"

Maybe spend as much energy correcting actual heretics as he did going after people just because they had traditional Catholic values?

Was it really the values though or something else?

Opus Dei… How long did that take?

4-5 years at the longest; 18 months at the shortest.

Is that what ChatGPT came up with? I remember Opus Dei from High School. It's much older. The history goes back much farther than your timeline.

I think you are new to Catholic Church as I recall, maybe I'm wrong. However, it has been my experience that the Church moves slow. The TLM is a case in point, going back some 50+ years before a more definitive statement was issued. It is still allowed mind you, but the emphasis is on the Novus Ordo, still in infancy in comparison to earlier rites. Give it time. It will work out the kinks. It always does.

Yes you are wrong. I am also a cooperator with Opus Dei.
