I'm booking travel for next year, I'm about 2 fifty depending on the holiday we just celebrated l. I plan on requesting a free seat for my backpack and seeing how this goes.

People are going to abuse this system. Southwest probably going to regret this decision.

Somebody find the post with the Ag who had to sit by the oozing of goo. I haven't seen it circulated in awhile.
If it's a Houston or San Antonio flight you're risking severely throwing off the aircraft's CG!stetson said:
Meanwhile, my wife had to pay SWA $125 to travel with a puppy that had to be in a carrier and stowed under the seat. I have no rationale for why SWA charged this fee as none is provided. If SWA does this, these people need to be pre-boarded at the back of the aircraft.
We already tried that with Keiko the whale and it took forever to repair the damage that caused! It ended up a Class A Mishap and nobody from the Air Force wanted anything to do with gear parts from the flight that were deemed serviceable. For all I know they're still in San Antonio.TitanAGGIE09 said:
Can we just scheduled all of them on their personal C17? Lord knows they can't walk down the aisles as is..
If they're not embarrassed for being a walking tub of good with no discipline, then I highly doubt they are embarrassed by this. Many may actually enjoy the attention they get.frenchtoast said:
I imagine this would be extremely embarrassing for obese fliers.
I see what you meant there.Reno Hightower said:

I already ditched flying SW thanks to the ridiculous **** in this picture. You see this huge line of wheelchairs for all these people that supposedly need them, and they get to pre-board. Then, in-flight a miracle happens and 90% of them just walk right off the plane at the destination. Southwest flights have restored more people's ability to walk than Jesus Christ himself.
There is nothing more frustrating than finally getting boarding position A16, only to see 67 pre-boards with their +1's...zoneag said:
