The Anti Vax rhetoric that has taken over, despite mountains of evidence that they not only work but are incredibly important to public health as the spreading of disease is as easy as it's ever been, is insane. Thank god I don't live my life in the level of delusion some people live.

Well, that's only natural after the absolutely terrible govt push for the covid vaccines and the amount of deception, force, etc they used on Americans. Of course people will start to seriously question authority when the authority shows itself to be so naked

Rogan just had this lady on Dr. Suzanne Humphries talking about vaccines in general and the Covid vax. Well reasoned and worth a listen.

It's not natural for people to abandon common sense based on an entirely emotional response. We had a Measles outbreak in the state because people won't vaccinate their children. Measles. That's insane.

Maybe if the media would quit perpetrating their scare tactics on people, there wouldn't be overreactions like this.

Covid vax? It doesn't help you not catch it and it doesn't keep you from spreading it. The idiots that pushed the stupid ass vaccine mandate knew this but didn't care because it was about control.

It was so bad they, quite literally, had to change the definition of "vaccine" to accommodate its suckitude.

It's no wonder that the level of skepticism about vaccines has risen. Even for proven, actual vaccines (and not injected pre-therapeutics like the COVID shot) like measles.

Kind of like how blacks were the least likely to get the COVID jab because of their history with govt-pushed shots.

It sure was for the people that wanted to destroy the global economy and society for 4 years over a cold virus because the TV told them to. Mee maw and pee paw. Were all in this together, the New normal, trust the science, my mask protects you, your mask protects me.

Understanding that would require people to know history, and people rarely have knowledge of anything other than "Nazis".

I haven't seen a single person here on this forum, or thread, take **** on the MMR or polio vaccines (you know, vaccines that actually prevent disease or spread of it). Everyone is talking about the covid vax, which has proven to be completely ****ing worthless and was essentially used as a clinical trial for millions (billions?) of people.

We have a measles outbreak in the state among a population that doesn't vaccinate due to religious reasons, that was brought here by members of their sect traveling from Mexico. It has nothing to do with Covid-induced vaccine skepticism or any sort of "emotional response".

And, the govts lies about it that should make anyone skeptical of their authority to promote any treatment. That's how bad their behavior was.

You do realize the media in America is majority conservative right? Most popular network by a large margin in Fox, and right wing internet commentators and podcasters fill the space.

From chat gpt

Here's a summary of key data points, studies, and real-world observations that have been cited as **evidence challenging the effectiveness** of the COVID vaccines, particularly over time or in specific contexts:

---

### **1. Waning Immunity Over Time**
- **Study (Israel, 2021):** Published in *NEJM*, this large Israeli study showed **vaccine effectiveness dropped significantly after 6 months**, especially against infection.
- [Levy et al., NEJM, Dec 2021](https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2114228)
- Protection against symptomatic infection dropped below 50% in some age groups, especially against Delta.

---

### **2. High Infection Rates Among the Vaccinated (Especially Omicron)**
- **CDC Data (2022):** During the Omicron wave, many areas saw **majority of cases and even hospitalizations among vaccinated individuals**, especially those without recent boosters.
- This was due to the immune escape of Omicron and waning effectiveness against infection.
- [CDC MMWR, Jan 2022](https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/71/wr/mm7104e3.htm)

---

### **3. Vaccinated Individuals Can Still Transmit the Virus**
- **Study (UK, Lancet Infectious Diseases, 2021):** Found **similar viral loads** in vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals infected with Delta.
- [Singanayagam et al., 2021](https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(21)00648-4/fulltext)
- This challenged the assumption that vaccines would significantly stop transmission.

---

### **4. Boosters Required Frequently**
- Vaccine-induced protection was **not durable**, leading to recommendations for **boosters every 46 months**, especially for vulnerable groups.
- Critics saw this as a sign of weak long-term effectiveness compared to natural immunity.

---

### **5. Excess Mortality Trends**
- In highly vaccinated countries, excess mortality in 2022 and beyond **did not always correspond with lower death rates**, and some observers raised concerns about vaccine side effects or long-term impacts.
- This is a complex issue with many variables, but it was cited by critics as evidence of unmet vaccine promises.

---

### **6. CDC Changing Definitions**
- The CDC quietly **redefined "vaccine" in late 2021**, shifting from "providing immunity" to "providing protection."
- Critics saw this as a tacit admission that COVID vaccines **did not meet traditional vaccine standards** for long-term sterilizing immunity.

---

Would you like sources from critics or medical professionals who made this case in detail (e.g., Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Robert Malone), or would you prefer mainstream publications acknowledging limitations?
