She may have made the bare qualifications but if she edged out someone even slightly better because of her gender then it's yet another DEI hire failure. You're right they'll make it impossible to prove but it will add to another datapoint just like cigarettes causing lung cancer.

Huh... I just scrolled back I wonder if that tweet has been edited or maybe I got a bad re-direct. It's not the same one I saw earlier. The imbedded pic I saw earlier was larger, had a reflection from I think a lamp top center and an area redacted by a large red square.

See post at 11:48 today with the X post with the screen shots. EDIT- it appears the original X post has been cropped or the names marked out- earlier today the FO name was Kendal

The Capt has a male name and the FO is "Kendal"

PIC has not been released. Speculation is per company rules radios are handled by acting SIC and radio voice was male making the PIC the female named FO. Assuming Kendal is a female.

I disagree with this. I fly on airplanes. I DO need to know Perhaps not every detail. Perhaps in due time, but my definition of that may be a lot shorter than what is actually going to happen. We will see.

That's going to lead to a bunch of off-topic arguments. But do you deny that the progressive movement in this country has an agenda? And do you deny that progressives with power will control and have controlled information (and investigations) in order to advance that agenda? There are many specific examples of which I am sure you are aware (Trump examples, mass shooting examples, law enforcement examples) that would be better left alone on this thread.

DEI is in itself an agenda. So that's already a given. It would seem the onus is more on those in charge to show us that it is not part of problem. Perhaps they will, but delays in releasing information only serves to suspect their motives.

Sunlight is the medicine that actually cures the problem, regardless of those that jump to conclusions. Hopefully we will get that sooner than later.
