But I think the real question is, this is related to state of New York policies. Why is the "party of smaller government" effing around with state politics?
What has Trump done that isn't within his constitutional authority? No Spin Ag said:

Because the party of big government, your party, was involved. We are getting back to smaller government and rolling it back. Those toll roads in NY were built with federal funds.
Surely eliminating taxes on the people is smaller government.

Biden didn't defy the Order. They reworked the plan so that it wasn't in defiance of the SCOTUS. That's how it normally works, and I have no problem if Trump does the same. That's not what I'm asking you and this is just a weak attempt to deflect and not answer the question. What if Trump says the SCOTUS cannot make me do anything, which is what JD Vance hinted at.Logos Stick said:Francis Macomber said:Ellis Wyatt said:I'll wait until Trump violates the Constitution to be bothered by it. what did you do when Biden defied the SCOTUS order?
Biden: A couple weeks ago, the Supreme Court made a decision that was a setback. They said nono to debt relief that would've helped more folks than any plan in historyup to 40 million working people who need the help the mostmiddle-class folks, a lot of whom got Pell Grants. That didn't stop us.
The question isn't what you expect him to do, it's what you will do if he doesn't follow it.jrdaustin said:Interesting hyptheticals.Francis Macomber said:Ellis Wyatt said:I'll wait until Trump violates the Constitution to be bothered by it. I think the first one could actually happen, as for the first time we're seeing off-the-rails partisan District judges making court orders attempting to usurp Executive Authority and separation of powers to such an extent that they're trying to tell the administrative branch what should be on government websites. Such orders are doomed to fail and should be pushed hard against. Lawfare at the district level continues with hand-picked, partisan judges who are not following the law.
These orders will be slapped down at the appellate level. But if such an order somehow made it through SCOTUS, I would expect Trump to follow it, and then I would lament the loss of the country. But I also believe that will never happen.
I don't see you saying you don't want him as king. In fact, I specifically asked a question about what you would do if he didn't follow the SCOTUS and you deflected and didn't answer it, leading me to believe that you would still support him if he did that.jrdaustin said:I passed over this gem the first time.Francis Macomber said:

It shows your ignorance and disdain for anyone who doesn't agree with you. Your use of "almost" isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card for a malicious ad-hom against over half the country.

I guess I want to know what the breaking point will be for some of you, or if there is one? So far, the feeling I get is as long as "We're pwning libs!" then he can do whatever he wants and you and your like will be on board.

this is what is so disturbing about the MAGA cult. Conservatives used to be the safe haven for constitutionalists and limited government. Its so far from that now. It is in a lot of ways an understandable reaction to the craziness of the left but it is disturbing nonetheless.Francis Macomber said:

Seriously? Why do think Biden opened the border? He and the party wanted votes, votes to stay in power for a very long time. You think he wanted them to come and get educated so they could better themselves?
