I realize he's probably trolling, but F16 would have had a ****ing thrombo if Obama did this.

But I think the real question is, this is related to state of New York policies. Why is the "party of smaller government" effing around with state politics?

Every president tries their best to "rule" as much as a dictator as possible. Trump isn't the first and he won't be the last.

Every president sees what the previous ones did and says, "Hold my beer," because they now have a new playbook to work from. The next dem president with have Trump's playbook and they'll do even more and the next and the next.

Honestly, IMO Trump was been less trolling than his first term, so he media is really going to have to work extra hard to make a mountain out of a molehill when he's not giving them stuff to use a few times every hour like before.

Because the party of big government, your party, was involved. We are getting back to smaller government and rolling it back. Those toll roads in NY were built with federal funds.

Surely eliminating taxes on the people is smaller government.

Yes, and federal law allowed for an exemption in this case

Quote:

Congress allowed limited exceptions including one specifically permitting pilot projects that test congestion reducing techniques.

BTW, this law was passed in 1958 under the presidency of raging lib Dwight D. Eisenhower.

What will you do if Trump and his administration defy Court Orders?

What if they defy an order from the Supreme Court?

Interesting hyptheticals.

I think the first one could actually happen, as for the first time we're seeing off-the-rails partisan District judges making court orders attempting to usurp Executive Authority and separation of powers to such an extent that they're trying to tell the administrative branch what should be on government websites. Such orders are doomed to fail and should be pushed hard against. Lawfare at the district level continues with hand-picked, partisan judges who are not following the law.

These orders will be slapped down at the appellate level. But if such an order somehow made it through SCOTUS, I would expect Trump to follow it, and then I would lament the loss of the country. But I also believe that will never happen.

what did you do when Biden defied the SCOTUS order?

Biden: A couple weeks ago, the Supreme Court made a decision that was a setback. They said nono to debt relief that would've helped more folks than any plan in historyup to 40 million working people who need the help the mostmiddle-class folks, a lot of whom got Pell Grants. That didn't stop us.
Biden didn't defy the Order. They reworked the plan so that it wasn't in defiance of the SCOTUS. That's how it normally works, and I have no problem if Trump does the same. That's not what I'm asking you and this is just a weak attempt to deflect and not answer the question. What if Trump says the SCOTUS cannot make me do anything, which is what JD Vance hinted at.

BTW, can any of you actually address Trump's actions without "but whadda bout Biden?"

When someone controls your emotional state, they control you. YOU empower them.

TDS is one of the most effective non-pharmaceutical mind controlling drugs every created, and Trump has learned to dominate the market through mean-tweets originally, and now via a more refined process of epic trolling.

If anyone thinks this is just a random happenstance derived from Trumps egoistic lack of scruples, you are mistaken. Look at the results. It was mentioned before, 'the clouded minds'. HIs opposition is so off balance, so un-cohesive, that they have no real campaign to stop him or anything that even looks like a schematic to do so.

The only real response is from random partisan judges making obvious breeches of constitutional authority with their dazed leftist onlookers gazing in in disbelief as their delusional world construct is being demolished purposefully around them. And all they can do while this systematic planned disassembly occurs is REEEE about troll jobs designed entirely to elicit this exact response.

OP, you got played and don't even know it.

Nothing. Which is why I said "as possible."

I said in another post last week that I'm finding it interesting just how Trump is pushing what power the presidency actually has.

It's obviously able to do so much more than previous president's have, which to me, a lover of history, is a good thing. The last thing a country needs is a stagnant government. That's how we get "The Swamp" and "The Establishment."

Looking ahead a few decades and the presidents then should really be able to move things for the better.
