Two things I hadn't heard before (1) at ~53:30 mark talking about DH Byrd had the sniper window from the school book depository removed and moved to his house after the assassination, and (2) there are multiple pictures of the "sniper's nest" where DPD was apparently trying to setup the boxes in a viable configuration for making that shot ~59:00.

Anyone have links to those supposed pictures showing different setups? Some outlandish stuff in that video.

Mark Groubert has most of the things he talks about linked on locals. I will try to find them for you later this week unless you want to sign up for their feed. Its free but I understand if you don't want to.

Also I am impressed you knew of all the sexual shenanigans of these people that died that long ago.

I kid.

Unrelated but I think this was very entertaining and since Mark knew him personally seems all plausible. Larry Hagman led a great life.

To come clean....I had heard of the stories about Mac and his bi-wife, ex-wife, wife, etc., but nowhere in that full detail. I only heard stories of his escapades and then the love quadrangle leading to the murder.

That video was WAY more detail than I knew, or cared to know

Thank you...I will give it a look. Definitely like seeing new things even if it is all crap, it is interesting to learn how wide this has spread.

There is only evidence for one conclusion.

Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK and acted alone.

My now deceased first cousin was from Pecos. He was a pilot for Braniff and was Billie Sol's personal pilot for quite some time. My uncle and Billie Sol developed irrigated farms in the Pecos/Coyanosa area. I was told many interesting stories, and I wish I could remember more. However, my cousin was adamant that LBJ was involved in Kennedy's death.

If LBJ or the CIA was involved in any way in the JFK assassination, they would have documented it in great detail. Oswald acted alone. Just like Kevin Clinesmith acted alone in doctoring the FISA email to spy on Trump. When Peter Strzok texted "we will stop him", he was referring to the voters, not the feds.

Making wild conspiracy claims, or questioning suspicious suicides, only erodes public trust in our sacred gov institutions. Look at all the damage that was done to Fauci and NIH when the official wet market narrative was rejected. Do we really want to disgrace the feds with more coup nonsense?

You should believe the majority of documented JFK testimony and experts. Just look at all the climate change damage being done by all those rejecting arguements based on consensus and authority. All you conspiracy theorists need to give it up and fall in line.

If you keep pushing, just remember Schumer's warning, the upstanding patriots at the intel community have 6 ways from Sunday at getting back at you.

"sacred government institutions" huh?

thanks. i needed a good laugh after the day i've had

my mistake.

in my defense, I read an incredible amount of utter BS by some of our resident leftists on this board so it becomes difficult to differentiate between stupidity and sarcasm.

it's kind of like an Onion article around here

Yep, absolutely ridiculous nonsense is posted by the left, hard to tell difference from sarcasm anymore.

It's like claiming humans with XY chromosomes dont have a physical advantage in sports over humans with XX. An obvious fallacy, but a serious "truth" to white libs.

Had never seen The Men Who Killed Kennedy, but found it compelling. I remember all of those events except LBJ's election in '48. I grew up in Live Oak County, next door to Jim Wells County (Box 13), so heard the stories about George and Archer (Archie) Parr all my life. My grandfather despised LBJ, as his reputation as a ruthless, corrupt politician was universally known.

None other enjoyed a more meteoric rise to the pinnacle of political power in American history, single handedly in a mere 12 years (two six year terms in the Senate). Only Obama did it sooner, but it was handed to him.

This video features Shane Stevens, who claims to have come into possession of an old audio recording between his grandfather (Billy Sol Estes), Cliff Carter (a top aide to Lyndon B. Johnson), and others allegedly involved in a conspiracy to assassinate JFK.

Stevens says his grandfather was LBJ's "bagman" and close associate, and that LBJ issued an order to assassinate JFK, which was allegedly carried out with the help of Malcolm "Mac" Wallace, LBJ's alleged hitman. The tape is said to include Carter expressing guilt and confirming LBJ's involvement.

According to Stevens, his family had long feared going public with the tape due to potential repercussions. He claims the tape was recorded around 1971, after his grandfather was released from prison, and that Cliff Carter died shortly afterward.

He suggests a broader Texas power syndicate, including oil men, politicians, and law enforcement, were involved in the cover-up or benefited from it. He also believes Lee Harvey Oswald was a CIA asset and not the actual shooter.

Key Takeaways & Claims

Alleged Recording:

The core evidence is a Panasonic mini-cassette tape of a conversation between Billy Sol Estes and Cliff Carter, where Carter allegedly says LBJ ordered JFK's assassination.

LBJ's Involvement:

The claim is that Lyndon B. Johnson orchestrated the hit due to political tensions with the Kennedy family, with a power base in Texas involving oil interests and political corruption.

The Hitman - Malcolm Wallace:

Referred to as "Mac," he is alleged to have been one of the actual shooters or deeply involved in the operation.

Cover-Up & Blackmail:

Stevens' grandfather speaks of being blackmailed and mentions multiple people being killed ("17 got killed in this situation very mysteriously"), suggesting a systematic cover-up.

Recording's Chain of Custody:

The tape was allegedly kept hidden in a family safe since the 2010s, passed from Daryl Bright (another family member) to Stevens' brother.

Potential Repentance & Spiritual Motivation:

Stevens claims he felt compelled by God to release the tape now and believes national healing requires confronting historical corruption.

Conspiracy Legacy:

He draws a connection between this alleged coup and broader distrust in U.S. institutions, implying this cover-up set the stage for decades of deceit.

Notes on Veracity

Highly Controversial: The claims made here go far beyond accepted historical accounts and are firmly in the realm of conspiracy theory, even though they cite real names and historical figures.

No Forensic Verification: There is no mention of voice authentication, date verification, or external expert validation of the tape.

Timing: The conversation allegedly took place years after the assassination (1971), which complicates the relevance as direct evidence.

Final Thoughts

Whether you believe this or not, this story ties into one of the most infamous and enduring conspiracy theories in American history - the idea that JFK's assassination was an inside job involving high-level political actors.

Just a side story to the LBJ/Parr connection, my aunt taught school in Freer for 20 years from the mid 50's to mid 70's. She told me when I was a kid Parr and the school superintendent called all the teachers into an assembly. They were told you will vote for LBJ or be fired. I was a kid but I knew enough to ask how would they know who you voted for and my aunt said they didn't they were just trying to scare everyone. It worked I think 90% of Duval county voted for LBJ.
