LOL, then the moron valued it at 18 million. Sad thing is, that might not be the most ridiculous thing he did in that case.

Everyday Americans cannot lie to a bank to get a mortgage, and if they did, our government would throw the book at them.
Keep in mind that what the tractor is "worth" is only an estimate. You don't know it's real value until it is sold. For common items, estimating the value is pretty easy. For uncommon items, it becomes a lot more gray.CanyonAg77 said:Quote:

As an everyday American who has filled out paperwork for banks for years, let me tell her how it works.
I need money to operate my farm in 2025. Let's say $10,000. I fill out a form saying I own a tractor worth $20,000, and I expect to take in $15,000 in crop sales in 2025.
Does the bank just say "Sure, here's $10,000"? Heck, no. They send out someone to take down the serial number and appraise it. They look at the numbers and decide whether I will really be able to produce that much crop.
If they don't it's their fault, not mine.
Now if the tractor is only worth $5,000, it would be fraud for me to sign papers saying it was worth $10,000
But if the bank fails to do their due diligence, loans me the money, and I make a crop and pay it back, guess who gives a crap.
Nobody.

No denial at all. Tishy James has a problem, methinks.2000AgPhD said:
"In response, a spokesperson for James' office said Wednesday morning that she has been "focused every single day on protecting New Yorkers, especially as this administration weaponizes the federal government against the rule of law and the Constitution. She will not be intimidated by bullies no matter who they are.""
Not exactly a strong denial of wrongdoing.

This one is especially easy.
She claimed a house in Virginia was her primary residence, even though she is the AG for New York and works in Albany. She claimed a brownstone in Brooklyn had 4 units, when it actually had 5. Both claims reduce interest rates.
She is also listed as "wife" on an application her father made. I haven't seen details on the transaction or the benefit to her.
Which is rich considering my county overvalues my property every April. Can I sue?Ellis Wyatt said:

And unlike Trump, she cannot claim someone else did any of the paperwork. Because she would have had to sign mortgage paperwork personally.Rockdoc said:

She's going to need it because win or lose, she'll be bankrupted. I wouldn't be surprised if that's Trump's real intention. Payback is a *****.Logos Stick said:
