Hmmm

James signed a Specific Power of Attorney declaring her intent to make 604 Sterling Street in Norfolk, Virginia her 'principal residence' which was a legally binding statement that according to NY State law, may have automatically vacated her position as NY Attorney General under Public Officers Law 30. This declaration came just 45 days before she launched her landmark civil fraud case against Donald Trump. This could not only put her big ass in the clink, it could automatically vacate the case she and the crooked judge railroaded Donald Trump with. So anyone thinking Trump would sit on this, like that loon Loomer is full of it. I'm not seeing Pam Bondi going lightly on this either. And with this hood rat going full ghetto publicly like the prior video post earlier, this will get interesting quickly. You can count on James playing the race card and the games will begin. And the whole Ilian Omar move claiming her dad as her spouse is going to make her case a no win situation. This is bigger than just inflated property values, it's fraudulent any way you slice it with no way to explain it away

Well it seems that Leticia James is now opening an investigation on the POTUS for insider trading violations in regards to the tariffs manipulation of the stock market. Based on his tweet to buy the dip to the entire world

So Fat Tish has been insider trading too? Since she only brings charges based on projecting from her own illegal activities and all...

This just got worse for Tishy.

Quote:

New York Attorney General Letitia James didn't just misclassify her five-unit Brooklyn brownstone as a "4-family dwelling" on mortgage documents. As we've previously reported, this distinction is not trivialproperties with five or more units are considered commercial and subject to stricter lending rules. But our latest investigation reveals something even more troubling: on multiple occasions, James described the property as a "1-family," "12 family," or even "13 family" dwellingdesignations that offer even greater mortgage advantages than the 4-family classification, including lower interest rates, reduced reserve requirements, and easier approval thresholds.
Quote:

This isn't a minor paperwork discrepancy. Five-unit buildings are classified as commercial properties under federal lending guidelines, subject to stricter underwriting standards, higher down payments, and less favorable terms. By repeatedly downgrading the unit countsometimes to as low as a single-family homeJames may have accessed residential mortgage products exclusively designed for primary residences with substantially more favorable terms.

The official Certificate of Occupancy for 296 Lafayette Avenue clearly and explicitly states "Five (5) Family Dwelling" in all capital letters. This official document, dated January 26, 2001, establishes the legal occupancy status of the building: View Certificate of Occupancy

Yet just two months after that Certificate of Occupancy was issued, James signed mortgage documents describing the property as a "One or Two Family" dwellingthe most aggressive misclassification possible, delivering the greatest mortgage advantages under residential lending programs.

The mortgage fraud for the house in Virginia is from 2023, so there is no SoL issue with it.

The mortgage fraud for declaring the building had 4 units, rather than 5, started in the early 2000's, I believe, but has been repeated a few times. I don't know where it stands on the SoL. The original act is well outside the SoL.

Declaring her father is her husband happened well outside the SoL. I don't know whether it was repeated.

No idea on the insurance fraud dates.

Just get a NY prosecutor. Those hurdles are nothing with a prosecutor who can just change facts to create the case.

None of this will matter. She will be tried in federal court in the Northern District of New York which is based in Albany. Albany voted 2:1 for Harris. A lot of voters there will have the opinion that Trump was never really held accountable for his crimes, will buy the "this is revenge and not a big deal" line, and James will get the Sussman nullification treatment.

Not necessarily. Unless I am mistaken, that federal district is bigger than just Albany, no? Because being the seat of the state government, bringing a crim case against a sitting state officer, any state employed, or adjacent to a state employed person could cause problems with a jury panel. They would need to cast a wide net to outlying areas for a federal jury panel.

Yes but her office is in Albany. So jurisdiction also lies there.

So, is Tishy a slumlord?

Quote:

Records from the New York City Department of Buildings and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) indicate a troubling pattern of neglect at her five-unit apartment building at 296 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn.

In the past 20 months alone, there have been 17 complaints against James with the New York City Department of Buildings.

Quote:

These include unauthorized construction work without proper permits, the alteration of a load-bearing wall without permits, illegal use of apartments as hotel rooms, illegal conversion, a fence over the height limit, and a failure to notify authorities of scaffold work.

More alarming still, all four of Letitia James's tenants are listed as having bedbug infestations and re-infestations.
Quote:

Additionally, two tenants have recently complained of peeling paint. These are both clear violations of housing maintenance codes designed to safeguard tenant health.

FWIW, the insurance fraud should be an ongoing situation.

One of big Tish's goals was re-classifying so many of her buildings down in risk. For instance, the 4 unit dwelling down from a genuine 5 unit dwelling. Supposedly, in NY, going from a 5 unit to a 4 unit means a change from a commercial property to a residential property.

Not only is that a reduction in interest rate, it's a lower insurance rate.

What I don't understand is all of that information should have been been revealed in the appraisal, meaning there's a lot of missing information in these reports (unless the appraiser decided to destroy his livelihood).
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
This is backed by data.

I want to get excited but it seems the left, other than RARE exceptions, always avoids any charges/prosecutions despite mountains of evidence.

At some point the right needs to stop worrying if the legacy media is going to paint them as racists if they prosecute because guess what, they're ALREADY calling you racists. Might as well get a damn skin on the wall for your trouble.

Oh, she'll get indicted.

It's also likely she'll receive a sentence---of sorts. The Dem party, quite literally have no shame. Most posters here have used the old saying of "means to an end", and no shame is the exact same thing. So she's likely to get something similar to the DOJ attorney who changed emails to make Russiagate more "palatable" to the country, the media acolytes, and the FBI/DOJ. James will probably make 4-5 times more than she currently does with cable or huge NY/DC attorney firms after she loses her law license for 6 months to a year. DC firms will fight over who can give her more money.

It's the exact reason 55% of their party find, at least some, justification in assassinating Trump and Musk. And candidly, it's not just those two names. It makes no difference who's running things. All Republicans, and really all people who they don't agree with, are susceptible to that same treatment.

The communist name is thrown around a lot here, as well, but even hard core socialists don't think like that. This is straight up communist thought and action.

The beauty of communist thoughts and action is they always control everything, so the actions they take will never be revealed, or, it will always be the fault of the victim they have to get out of the way.

Dems are hardly finished.

And, since there has to be something between the appraiser and/or the applicant, the perfect scenario for her to possibly get exonerated is to completely blame the appraiser. There's a lot involved in that, but it's a 100% guarantee James has already thought of that, and she'll have lots and lots of Dem acolytes to help place the blame on someone other than her.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.

LOL. She has hired Hunter Biden's lawyer Abbe Lowell.

Quote:

Lowell, a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP, is known as a high-profile attorney for embattled political figures, having represented Democrats such as Hunter Biden, John Edwards, and even Bill Clinton during his impeachment trial.

According to the Times Union, he was reportedly hired by the Office of the New York State Attorney General, not personally by Letitia James, just days after Trump-appointed officials filed a formal criminal referral to the DOJ.

The referral, spearheaded by U.S. Federal Housing Director William Pulte, accuses James of participating in suspicious real estate and mortgage transactions stretching back decades.
