Yea, and there is not anywhere close to majority support for such codification.

You want foreign aid for abortions, vote D. You want a prohibition, vote R.

Massie pushing this is unserious bloviating. People of Kentucky deserve better than quixotic windmill tiltera who vote with the Dems when it counts.

Loser mentality, no wonder the GOP has a reputation as the party of losers. "We could save the lives of unborn children but we're too scared to try"

Yea, that's a strawman right there buddy.

It's a loser mentality to think you will win football games by running up the middle with skinny lineman and a one legged halfback.

But let's see what Trump did on abortion… checks notes… oh nominated justices to get abortion sent back to the states and… checks more notes… broadened the Mexico City Policy.

What has Massie done? Drafted a bill trying to codify something already happening that went nowhere? Literally saddling up with the devil to vote against Trump cause he's a whiny titty baby?

Mine wasn't a strawman but yours definitely was. Do the Republicans not control the House Senate and WH? Just because Trump did good on abortion does not mean the next guy can't undo that good. Why not put it to a vote? Force these spineless Republicans to make a decision for once. I seriously cannot believe there are still people in 2025 happy with Republicans doing nothing with the powers they were awarded by their constituents.

Speaking of strawman....

Massie voting his conservative principles on something that he is clearly right on regarding transparency and fiscal responsibility, which is what his constituents want since he's clearly well liked there, is not the same as coordinating with the Dem's to vote a certain way to "get Trump".

The bigger issue is the populace that whines about a conservative advocating for conservative policy because it slows down the uniparty from continuing their two steps left, one step right, dance they've been doing for decades. Trump has been great at trying to disrupt that dance for the most part, but he still has signifcant flaws and the GOPe is still entrenched with politicians that don't want to break away from it.

Exactly, Massie is a first-rate defender of the Constitution when the blue team has power and a third-rate grandstander when the red team has power. Either way he wins 75% of the vote every time they find some schmuck to run against him lol
