The same thing the current administration is.

My parents taught me that the proclamation of "they did it first" didn't absolve me of any wrong doing when i was 5, yet many adults have tried to argue it repeatedly on this thread. Just because the Biden administration was wrong doesn't give the Trump administration a free pass. Be better than they are.

Better yet, what did they destroy?

I think the same thing can also be asked of the current one.

Answer this question first, though, as opposed to deflecting.

Massie was going off about some names that were released and it was pointed out to him those names were randoms included in a photo lineup.

Massie got butthurt about this revelation and claimed the DOJ should have added that context.

Shipwrecked and Harmeet are pointing out their stupid act did not allow for such.

For those who actually read the bill, it was poorly done to the point it had to be intentional. Or Massie is on of the MIT students who fail at making change from a dollar.

Quote:

The names of the individuals in the line-up cards created for some ID purpose are part of an common "investigatory material."

"Yeah well the stupid idiot should have done better, can we move on?"

Meanwhile the DOJ is explicitly covering this up. That's no longer debatable.

Why did the DOJ cover it up for the 4 years Biden was in office. What were the Democrats hiding????

Better yet, what did they destroy?

At what point does this question become trolling? It's answered on nearly every page.

EDIT: Oh, and man I don't know, but I bet the Trump ran DOJ shutting things down will help get us to the bottom of things!

I have not seen the answer to this. Someone has explained exactly what the Dems destroyed?

And what they covered up during those 4 years?

I looked at the past 4 pages and didn't find either answer...

Somehow I think you're FOS...

Where in this:

Quote:

They are all corrupt.

But obviously there is a heightened level of intrigue under the Trump admin because:
- Trump talked about releasing it on the campaign trail.
- His son clamored for the release of the files in 2024.
- JD Vance discussed it multiple times after being named the VP nominee and said that they should be released.
- Kash Patel fueled conspiracies on his podcast.
- Dan Bongino fueled conspiracies on his podcast.
- Pam Bondi said that she had a list of names on her desk.
- Then on top of all of that, the massive flip-flopping in rhetoric by the administration over the course of the last year.

If Biden's administration had conducted themselves similarly, there would have been far more public pressure back then. Then, on top of that, people who have supported Trump (like myself) likely had far more faith in the Trump admin to be transparent than the Biden admin and are obviously letdown and outspoken about it.

is the answer to:

a) What did the Dems destroy?
b) What did the Dems cover up during those 4 years?

Other than "They are all corrupt", which doesn't actually answer either of those questions...

This is so suspect, Democrats wanted to get Trump so bad that they would not have sat on this during the Biden Administration, if it had legs, they never would have had to trump up misdemeanors into felonies to try to get him.

I agree, but let's not forget the underlying ground has shifted a lot in the past 19 years.

Let's presume there were multiple reasons why the Bush Admin covered this up initially in 2006-07 and why later Administrations from both parties subsequently sat on this scandal and went along with the coverup.

The most obvious reason: both parties have members and big donors who are compromised.

Another likely reason: the Israeli intel agency - CIA - Saudi - Qatar - UAE connections to Epstein. If intel agencies were using Epstein to get info, that would be a huge scandal with enormous public backlash and repercussions. Both R & D Administrations would not want that scandalous connection exposed, not during their time in the WH, and not even now.

Consider this observation: Have GWB, Obama, Trump, Biden, or any of their past CIA and natsec chiefs and FBI Directors and DOJ AG's publicly called for the Epstein files, with only victim names redacted, to be released? Afaik, the answer is "no".

GWB, Obama, and the Trump 1.0 regime had real Middle East wars and real shadow wars going on vs. Al Queda, ISIS, Iran, the Taliban etc. in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, etc.

But now, some of the underlying ground that existed before 2025 has shifted. Public sentiment and public opinion about the our nation's relationship with Netanyahu and Israel has been gradually going through a huge sea change the past 2 years, and that transition is still picking up more momentum every day inside the voter base of both parties.

A majority of voters in the bases of both parties want this scandal exposed.

Yep, and to your last point, I definitely agree that the majority of people on both sides who are half-plugged into politics want this blown up...while the majority of politicians on both sides seemingly don't.

Stinks to high heavens, but I do suspect it is more complicated than "both sides have big donors who could be compromised" (although I do believe that to be true). I think it's even deeper than that, involving one or a combination of intel groups you mention.

The conspiracy theorist in me does wonder if Trump wants this to all go away because he knows he has been green lit by groups that could actually kill him this time if he actually issues everything unredacted and tries to start sicking LE on influential people. Distant possibility that has crossed my mind, although unlikely. I do believe CIA and Mossad (and other groups) could easily kill any world leader on the face of the globe, if they so desired. Some low IQ white trash punk was able to get a clean shot on Trump's head from close range, a mere head turn away from pink mist and potential nationwide conflict.

Weird that people are resigning their roles, being charged, and/or arrested over a "hoax." Super strange.

The only charge brought so far has nothing to do with sex trafficking.

Why were there previous court cases that "files" can't be released from? (Various cases).

There was on person who could though on this topic be able to be interviewed and provide a fair amount of information. But unfortunately AFTER she said she was not suicidal became suicidal and isn't here any longer.

Oh it's even better as the guy who is smart enough to own Bath and Body Works as well as Victoria Secret somehow thought it was a great idea to give JE power of attorney over everything he has…………. That guy is now claiming he was a VICTIM

AND YES bondi confirmed he's never been questioned, Patel said nobody else involved, and now his podcast propaganda machine Bongino says there is nothing to see here move on.

There isn't anything to see there with regards to a made up "client list".

Why cant you all just accept that there isn't enough evidence to bring criminal charges, and that names would only come out if victims filed civil suits? Why is that so hard to grasp for yall?

The real issue is Epstein funding his debauchery with tax dollars from decades of illegal backdoor fed ops. The Feds love this "client list" smoke screen. Yall keep crying about it, they keep denying it, just circles going nowhere.

True, that's exactly why they're covering it up as hard as they are.

But it's going to take lots of baby steps like revealing that the lowest hanging fruit in the entire charade (Les Wexner) was never questioned by the FBI or DOJ to prove to the general public that their government is this corrupt and immoral. It will eventually get them to turn on both parties and that's not going to happen overnight. Baby steps.

[This thread has derailed from a discussion on the Epstein files into an anti-Israel conversation. Keep it to a discussion on the disclosure of the Epstein files. There are many possible tangents related to that, including Israeli connections, but when any single tangent becomes the dominant conversation, we will clean it up to bring it back to the broader discussion. The DOJ incompetence continues. First we had them just using black highlighter to redact which was easily removed. Now folks on reddit have discovered that there are quite a few files that were labeled as PDF but nothing happened when you opened them, so they open them as an MP4 and are finding videos.

After you watch the video you can go confirm it yourself.

Only saying this as a reminder to folks that a lot of these claims are easy to reproduce yourself, if you feel skeptical.

If I was in charge of this release, I don't think I could have come up with a worse way to do it. From an organization, formatting, standards, etc etc point of view. Just awful, but I think that was intentional.

Yes. Alex Acosta proved this already. Mike Benz also has tons of docs to back that up.

That doesn't mean Feds were involved in sex trafficking or blackmail.

Not incompetence, they are laughing at us. We live in a fake country basically. Western civilization is fake at this point...a facade. A gigantic money laundering and control scheme and we are all powerless pawns. The people certainly do not run the countries, not even close. This is one of the things DOGE and the Epstein stuff has exposed, although people only want to focus on the sexual stuff involving children, understandably.

The ONLY reason to vote is in hope of slowing down the cultural decay. But all that does is slow down the inevitable. No matter what we do, the debt will continue to balloon...so being a "fiscal conservative" is futile at this point. Vote only for people who utterly despise progressivism.

I agree. Clintons, Obama and Biden all will be exposed. Clintons, Obama and Biden were funded by Epstein's influence peddling.

If there was ANY damaging evidence against Trump it would have been exposed in 2015.

But by all means spread the narrative from your fellow travelers.

Great. So, except for victim names, redact it all and make all 6M files public. As POTUS, Trump has the power to do this.
