There's alot of young men in their ranks. Surely some one has the debate chops that Charlie did.

I'm not sure if he had a second in command or anything, but his shoes are going to be impossible to fill. I also think the organization as a whole is going to shift even more right wing.

He wore too many hats for any one person to fill the void.

I don't necessarily disagree. I just know that he has traveled and sat along side Charlie in the campus setting and is capable of handing the peppering of debate questions. Maybe the on-campus debate platform ends and is replaced with something else, who knows.

Im not sure he has the religious conviction of charlie.

His wife is still in shock/dealing with things I expect. I believe she is a strong woman who will reach out to/identify a leadership figure/set for his organization, and the tremendous amount of goodwill toward it, and her family will drive it to further success, but it is too early to speculate right now.

When Rush passed, which was expected (and I don't think he wanted to name an 'heir'), not many of us would have picked a combination of Clay and Buck and Dan Bongino to lead a fractured EIB network remnant. But, all prospered and did well. Just a random thought.

Unlike Rush, who was basically a one man show with a small staff, TPUSA is huge and employs like 450 people. They could hold some sort of "tryout" where employees/members vote on a new head. Charlie already established the organization. It seems that the next guy merely needs to be charismatic and a good debater.

I honestly had no idea how important Kirk was to younger guys today. But you're probably right in the analogy; there won't be another "one," but there will be other ones.

Unfortunately the org was just Charlie. Just like Apple was just Steve Jobs.

Steve Jobs gone and Apple is just another company doing nothing innovative anymore.
Charlie gone and TPUSA will slowly fade into obscurity.

Vivek is not white. So while he is good for debate, he knows his limitations too. He will not take up the role and put himself at risk.

Not being white doesn't seem to have made him shy about attention or public events so far.
