I don't think that's exactly it. I don't know anything about TPUSA. Shapiro's great but Charlie was an America first guy. Shapiro is too into the Israel thing, which is great and all but imagine a well-spoken, super smart Catholic that was always trying to talk about the Holy See/Vatican (a sovereign nation) and tying that to America first. "You can't be a good American if you don't want to support the Vatican militarily and economically." It just rubs people the wrong way.

As to the gay guy, don't know him but yeah it's sort of inimical to the "love God, get married and start a family" core of what Charlie was all about.

I appreciate the commentary but you you from saying that's not exactly it, then lay out why you agree with me, then say you don't know much about the org and "the gay guy" is married and has a child - and he was very good friends with Charlie. Believe Guy gave Charlie some of his earliest opportunities to speak to students.

My comment was a bit tongue in cheek regarding how picky people can be when supporting a movement or person. One of the things about Charlie is he wanted to broaden his reach, not limit it.
