The next Dem prez will eliminate the borders and ICE altogether.

Or offer a full and complete municipal referendum. Treat it like the Iraq elections and oversee everything militarily. Ask them if they want the lawlessness of their city council, or the feds to continue their work. They will abide by any greater than 65% majority, but will take all funding with them if chosen against.

On one level have to wonder if it makes sense to intervene in a blue state with a hostile governor as well? Oregon a similar situation, and also CA. Don't think that is the case with Memphis.

Ask the Attorney General to investigate the mayor to see if there is any federal law he has broken, and if so go after him hard.

Then send in the guard anyway to every site in Chicago that receives one penny of federal money with great fanfare and make them visible everywhere.

Arresting illegals is lawful and completely under the control of Federal law.
