I don't trust Muslims at all.

Dutch Army has an entire barracks on West Ft Hood
Was passing through there several years ago and ran across several of them at a convenience store
They were all tall as hell
I may or may not snuck a few of them out to a night in Austin and let's just say they nearly created a frenzy with the girls between their accent and jacked build.

It is for training them on the F-15s they bought. There will be no munitions
And? Have we done this for another foreign militaries? Genuine question because I do not know.

It's an F-15 training facility. Foreign pilots train in the US and have for years.

what could go wrong? something about allowing ME country to train on our land doesn't stomach well...AT ALL. I don't care if we do this with other countries.
We've had ME countries training here in the U.S. for decades

Quote:
"There isn't a single Trump supporter who supports allowing Qatar to have a military base on US soil," Loomer posted to the social platform X. "I don't know who told President Trump this was a good idea, but it has made people not want to vote."
She also wrote that "no foreign country should have a military base on US soil. Especially Islamic countries."

Even after 9/11? I always had assumed the training of military from middle eastern countries would have stopped after 9/11.

Y'all know what this is don't you? This is just the first step in establishing Sharia law in this country. They make it work first in Idaho, then they roll it out everywhere.

This also isnt uncommon. Sheppard, Morris, Ebbing, Luke, and Elgin are all used to train foreign pilots.
I recall flying to London, guy across the aisle was a young Saudi AF pilot who had just finished training at Sheppard in '06. So not so unusual.

We do this all the time. Singapore has a unit at Mountain Home AFB where they operate their F-15SGs. I suspect Qatar wants a similar deal for their F-15QAs. Tucson hosts the Taiwanese Air Force F-16s and I believe the Singaporeans also operate their F-16s there as well. Additionally at least a dozen countries send their pilot candidates to our USAF or USN basic training programs.
These are usually part of the purchase of US-built aircraft. Small countries like Taiwan, Singapore and Qatar like these arrangements because it gives them access to huge swaths of training airspace that their home countries can't provide due to size.

Exactly. Calm down, cupcakes, and de-emphasize the click bait headlines.TexAgBolter said:
Good god some of you guys are ignorant. We've been training foreigners on US soil forever. Guess what, we also send our people overseas to train allies in their countries. It's part of a long standing military strategy and one of the main reasons that China and/or Russia would lose badly in a global confrontation. The Indo/Pacific is full of arrangements like this.

Am I missing something here or is this completely unprecedented for the US to do? Why are we allowing a middle eastern military to have presence on US soil?
They gave Trump a cool plane and his family got a bunch of deals. Gonna give this the 48 hour rule, but that sounds kinda sus.
Plane went to the pentagon, and what family deals?
This also isnt uncommon. Sheppard, Morris, Ebbing, Luke, and Elgin are all used to train foreign pilots.

Anyone at A&M back when the Shah of Iran was deposed? It was like every Iranian on campus disappeared overnight.
