Source close to POLITICO says he's dropping out soon. I'm skeptical but we'll see. The latest revelations are likely the last straw, on top of all the other gross stuff.
He's obviously dropping out. Has cancelled ad buys and says he is reflecting on what is best.
The only thing that is non-obvious to some is that this was a hit from the left, not the GOP/conservatives. They waited for this moment to drop this penultimate strike such that he had to go so Mills doesn't have to campaign much and they can get Chuck's preferred nominee on the ballot in November.
In a sane world the leftists would be furious about this, much more so than so-called conservatives would be over Paxton v. Cornyn outcome, where at least the primary voters' decisions...elected the outcome. But that's not how Democrats work. Unironically, the Somali vote turnout could still decide this race (after they abandoned Mills for Platner, despite all she'd done for them).
