Well, the Government is shut down. Go to any Emergency Room in America for a first hand view of free health care in action.
Stop by any emergency room at any time in any large city and watch and listen for yourself. Completely overrun with foreign patients that don't speak English and when you listen, they have computerized screens used to translate so the doctors can communicate with the patients.
They are shutting down the government until their demands are met. It doesn't really matter what their demands are - they just change them as they go along anyway.

I really don't care. The fact of the matter is that they are holding the government hostage in order to extend transfer payments for people to be able to afford their crappy Obamacare insurance plans that the Dems are responsible for saddling us with.

I already know F16 will attack the messenger, but the "Dems want to give illegals free healthcare" is a republican talking point and isn't really true. Medicaid, ACA, CHIP and the Personal Responsibility and Work Reconciliation Act all require that you have to be a "qualified alien" to get benefits. That is green card, legit refugees who came through proper legal channels, etc... Illegals are barred by law.
They cannot change any of these laws while Republicans control the House, Senate and Prez. So they may "want" to but it's not going to happen.
The only benefit they can get is "emergency Medicaid." We aren't going to let them die in a life threatening emergency.
The Dems want to reverse the cuts to Medicaid and ACA subsidies which is bad enough and costs us too much money.
They cannot change any of these laws while Republicans control the House, Senate and Prez. So they may "want" to but it's not going to happen.
The only benefit they can get is "emergency Medicaid." We aren't going to let them die in a life threatening emergency.

Are the illegals getting benefits because they qualify because of the system or because the system fails at keeping them from getting benefits.
Also, what's "numerous?" Are we talking hundred ls of thousands, millions, or anecdotal numbers?
I'd imagine, seeing as how this is Trump's administration there's all the paperwork (proof) with all the numbers and info on all the illegals getting benefits.

So if the states says it's legal, and is knowingly giving them Healthcare, how are illegals getting it illegally?
Wouldn't Trump have been able to stop states like California from doing this, either through the people who run the money to California or some other means?
Just trying to see why nothing has been done it just can't be done because of states rights or whatever.

Stop lying, my sister does this at an actual hospital, illegals ARE GETTING FREE HEALTHCARE
They are also getting Food stamps and other benefits.

What they need to be saying is that ' fine, we'll negotiate on a benefits extension, but each and every claimant must provide proof of citizenship to be eligible '. That will be non negotiable. That sheds a light and exposes all the deceit and corruption.
