Its not hard, just visit the maternity ward, the illegals are having babies and the hospital is getting money for the process. How is this not known? That's just one easy example.

I am sure they are recovering some money, but the amount recovered from indigent care and unreimbursed care is not much at all. If there was as much as some people claim, someone would open a hospital only delivering babies of illegals. They haven't done that because there isn't any money in it.

You are quoting a misinformation in a Whitehouse memo, not an actual change to immigration health-care law.
The WFTCA sections they cite deal with hospital reimbursements and Medicaid funding formulas, not eligibility. Even if those sections were repealed, the core federal laws that actually block undocumented immigrants from getting full health benefits stay in place:

• 8 U.S.C. 16111641 (PRWORA) bars undocumented immigrants from Medicaid/CHIP
• 42 U.S.C. 1396b(v) only allows emergency Medicaid for life-threatening situations
• 42 U.S.C. 18032(f)(3) prohibits ACA marketplace coverage for anyone not lawfully present

Repealing WFTCA provisions wouldn't give "free health care to illegal immigrants" because federal law still makes them ineligible for regular Medicaid, CHIP, or ACA subsidies.

Medicaid sucks and needs reform. Immigration is getting reformed. But making up disinformation is going to help the democrats. We need to provide healthcare for Americans, especially the working poor. And oh no! That may include a few LEGAL brown people

We seriously need healthcare reform in this country but I don't think the clown show going on in Washington can deal with it. That's basically it in a nutshell. The healthcare industrial complex, who pour in billions from K street, are telling Dems they cannot open the government without allowing unaccountable tax dollars to continue to flow into their profit columns by denying care to illegal aliens and to keep pumping in trillions of dollars into the system to keep the ACA "affordable".

It was never affordable, and it was never intended to be. It was intended to force every person, at gunpoint, to buy their awful coverage.
