Further up you can read that it was the only item I purchased, so it was really on my mind when I was figuring out how much the price went up. It surprised me. I know organic milk is more expensive and I'm willing to pay it, just shocked by the increase.

Inflation is down. It averaged over 5% during Bidens Presidency. So far Trump has it down to 3% with work to go.

Gas is down. Eggs were up due to Bird Flu and millions of chickens having to be killed, but have come down, and our Aggie Sec of Agriculture is helping farmers build better coups to keep carriers from getting in.
Beef is up as the size of the US Cattle herd is at historical lows due to droughts in past years. We can't bring beef in from Mexico due to parasites, but are bringing some in from Argentina to pick up the slack. Trump is investigating the (foreign owned) meat packing companies for price gouging, The one thing he can't undo, is the doubling of minimum wage, which instead of making things more affordable for the poor just drove up the cost of everything.
As for medical costs, he's been driving down the cost of multiple drugs by forcing big pharma to give us the same prices as overseas. Also, the MAHA moves made by RFK jr, is going to result in lower health costs at the individual level with the reduction in chronic disease and the cost of treating.

Also remember, every ****ing thing Trump does to make the government and economy better is challenged by a ****ing libtard judge. They even issued an order saying that the email messages the Dept of Ed had on their phones during the shutdowns are unconstitutional. These people are un****ing real.

Lets also remember that Seniors as well as homeowners in high SALT states will see significant relief on their tax returns in a few months.

Our Farmers were suffering due to China stopping all imports of US Soy, and our industrial base was about to shut down due to China placing export embargo on rare earths, until Trump told them he'd increase their tariffs by over 100% and they backed off.

Inflation is never going away as long as we are printing money to fund entitlement spending. It simply cannot happen.

So plan accordingly. We have raised prices twice in the past three years to offset it.
