I get what you are saying and this matches my observations also. However as far as immigrants go, I think we in America and perhaps also in England, I suspect people assume that since their great grandpa came to the country 130 years ago and made it, it would be unfair to deny someone else the opportunity to do so. However, great grandpa came in now with malicious intentions, he came in for a better life and to contribute to his new homeland. The key point is not all immigrants are like this. Some are very clearly malicious. This could be in different ways, some just want to pile on the host. They don't want to work, but they don't want to destroy you either, as long as you (the host) pay their bills. The other kinds are the ones who are religiously motivated who clearly want to kill the host and finish them off for their religion. It is not money for then, it is their religion and ideology.

The assimilated ones are the ones you mention above, the Indians, Jamaicans, Jews, Sri Lankans, people from Philippines etc. Some types of Muslims are also well assimilated, who are doctors and engineers and business owners. However England has lowered the bar and also allowed in Jihadis and terrorists who have infected even the "good" Muslims. Several good Muslims kids are not good, they are angry Jihadis but born and brought up in England. The US is doing the same with Indians. The 90s Indians were highly educated and productive and behaved themselves and assimilated. The ones who came in post 2010 are the uncivilized ones who dance on the streets, litter, and get into petty crime.

Think it has been happening much longer than that and was actively pushed by the EU to the point of punishing countries who balked at accepting them. Big part for Brexit to get out from under the EU's governance.

Nothing to do with social media, everything to do with Islam.
Islam is a religion which does not create or build, it loots and takes over. That is how its history has been. So the first gen folks come in are vetted as professional and educated and mostly they are good citizens and are thankful to escape their sheethole countries. The next gen, their kids are UK born with no memory of daddy's sheethole origins. They take what they have for granted and want "more". They usually meet a crazy hate-fillled rabid mullah in the mosque who comes from Pakistan and he radicalizes all the kids and fills them with victimhood. "You are being treated this way because you are Muslims. White people don't like you. Allah wants us to convert them to Islam". Muslims also as a general rule don't value education very much as they are more socialistic. They also get to depend on host countries to live by begging or threatening them. So the kids don't study and spend their time goofing around, chasing Kafir women, being cool etc. Most of them get into Islamic activism/jihad as their way of passing time as they need a cause to dedicate their lives to.

Their military is small and mostly squishy. They would not overall be capable of putting up that much of a fight, IMO.
