Just got back from my first trip to London.
One of the days we went on a 3 stop guided tour. Tour guide was a bred, born, and raised London Brit. We had a few discussion about the state of London and England in general.
Long story short, he was pretty down about the outlook for his country. In his words "the London I grew up in is gone."
I have to say, I knew there was a lot of immigration into London the past 10-15 years, but I didn't expect what I saw. I never really thought of London as a "international" city like New York, but it may as well have been New York.
