I don't know how you didn't watch that and be thoroughly embarrassed by it. I'm really struggling to find the words because how North Korean the whole thing was. Create an award that never existed with a weird 5 minute long hype video followed by what can only be described as comically excessive aggrandizement. I mean if you're only emotional state is owning the libs I can see how you enjoyed it as if it was simply an algorithm. But good God they couldn't have laid it on more thick if they tried to gas up Trump's narcissism. I swear before the age of the internet nobody would have let that facile and vacuous ritual fly. I actually watch Wrexham when they are on Paramount but my local team( FC Dallas) lost me completely when they went super woke after George Floyd died of am overdose. I hope they never win a championship.

i suppose, If you mean the sport predominately uses feet.

Hands are for handling objects. Feet and legs are for running, jumping and gaining leverage. Soccer has it completely wrong. They need to pick that ball up with their mitts and run it towards the goal - and ****ing hit somebody if they have to on the way. Otherwise, forget it. play hacky sack instead.

I've been working with companies in Austin, Boston and the SF Bay Area for the past 30 years. Including people in the PNW.

And, I lived in Los Angeles for quite a while. But (confession), I didn't realize that Chivas USA has been gone for a decade.

If we are arguing dumbness, then it's dumb that we call American football...football since using your feet is secondary to the sport. It should have been called Handball or something wholly different.
