You've reposted this several times . its not nearly as effective as you think. This story is far from over. And the right will launch an easy to message counter strike.

What would it take to declare Marshall law and suspend habeus corpus?

Marshall Law was alone of the OL the Aggies had in 1985, but he would be small by today's standards.

Marshall Land. I had a PoliSci class with him, extremely intelligent and well-spoke. Great Aggie rep.

Maybe he lived in Law Hall... (I kid. Expect he was in Cain)

He actually lived in Eastmark Apartments. They were brand new circa 1985

I want to say this is the player I met one night while I was getting my mail at Briarwood Apartments. He was there with his girlfriend. Very friendly, approached me right away and introduced himself. Shook my hand, erh, shook my hand and forearm. That guy was huge.

Hypocrisy of the highest order

It's more nuanced than that. Putting 2A aside, anyone who actually conceal carries does so for self defense. A person concerned with self defense is concerned about their own safety (and those they care about). You know what those people do? Avoid the exact situation this person put himself in. While I have a permit and have carried in the past, if I were going to protest the law enforcement I would definitely not be carrying in that situation. What is your best case scenario? Going to shoot a cop or federal agent in self defense? So basically guaranteed long prison sentence. I think I will take my chances with not being armed if I think protesting is that important.

What many may be overlooking is that these protestors on the left don't anticipate confronting solely Law Enforcement, but also counter protestors on the right who have consistently shown up to protests armed, particularly in open carry states. Context matters as we evaluate these incidents, and before we come to conclusions we should consider all relevant aspects.

If we consider that those on the left have been exposed to images of those on the right attending these demonstrations armed, and they wish to be equally heeled in order to avoid intimidation from counter protesters who are armed, ie non law enforcement, it becomes a little more challenging to conclude that the only reason Pretti was armed was because he wanted trouble with LEOs.

I agree it's stupid to take a weapon into confrontation with a cop, and I certainly wouldn't trust a P320 as my carry, but I've reviewed the videos and haven't seen Pretti actively resisting the agents, and at this point think we had a volatile situation where a negligent discharge likely contributed to his being killed.

That being said, if self-defense is a priority, and one expects to encounter not only LEOs, but also counter protesters who might be armed, I can understand why the guy was carrying.

Your argument might have some merit if Pretti was headed for a scheduled, permitted protest; but, that's not what's happening, is it?

Sorry, but for your argument to make a shred of sense, you have to assume that potential counterprotestors ALSO have their own SIGNAL response network to immediately respond to ICE enforcement actions.

We both know that's not happening.

For my argument to carry what matters is what Pretti, and others like him expect based upon whatever media they've been consuming. I agree that the strongest support for my argument are these large planned protests, but cannot discount that the crux of the matter are the narratives that are being fed to people in order to incite them to take to the streets. We have been pitted against each other by those on the left and on the right, and caricatures and misrepresentations are part of that process.

I refer you once again to this. We are watching the curtain being pulled back in real time, and the Great and Powerful Oz that is the leftist narrative is being revealed to be the scrawny, tired old sleight of hand with zero substance - even with the microphone of the legacy media.

And when the focus is returned to the massive grift perpetrated by those authoring this narrative....?

But that aside, depends on how serious the burns were. Natural inclination to want to put cold on it. Didn't actually see it go off in her hand, though. Could be wrong but seems she had picked it up after it had discharged but was still hot?.

Cool water is what you want, not cold or ice. Too cold can cause further damage.

If she truly picked up the flash bang before it went off, she's lucky to even have a hand. I'm thinking she picked up possibly a smoker or something because a flash bang would've taken her hand completely off.

How so? Please point out one instance where a R working with a D has resulted in a positive outcome for this country in the last 20 years or so.

If there is anything that we should see here, it's that agreeing to what D wants has always been a recipe for getting bent over. D never negotiates in good faith; it is always the R abandoning what they believe in to just agree with the D and whatever filth they want.

Yea you want to cool it for sure, but too cold and it can vasoconstrict. Even if she just touched it and it was a superficial contact burn. I'm not sure she was burned more than struck but it's hard to tell.

If Walz agrees to "hand over" detained illegals (of which there are probably near 0 right now) I think Trump pulls ice out of MN and calls it a win. All Walz has to do to win is not arrest any illegals and therefore will never have to turn any over.

Tough to say..."possession" doesn't necessarily mean "in custody"...

Could mean they are "possessed within the state's borders"...

I very seriously doubt they empty what they have left in holdings and Trump says, "that's good enough."

IF and that's a big IF, Walz is trying to make a deal with Trump it's going to be for immunity for his part in the scandal for the billions. It's the only bargaining chip he has.

You were so sure Biden, then Harris would win. No one knows what will happen in the next 10 months. And with all of the Dem cheating and corruption being exposed and dealt with, winning elections is going to be much tougher. Bottom line, Democrats have no policies. They offer nothing. They have no leadership. And their approval ratings are horrible.

Nobody is naive enough to believe either side is doing this without their own political calculus in mind. Nevertheless, I would hope everyone would celebrate a way to lower the temperature in MN in the immediate term.

It's all media driven. Left wing propagandists.
Their narrative is 24/7. Note nothing about who is being arrested. Note nothing about the couple killed by an illegal driving drunk.
If it was even close in coverage, polls would show it
if you listen to any news conferences , the average American should be outraged by the questions - there is zero subjectivity in the questioning - no attempt to explore both sides of an event. Just a straight up propaganda gesture for the left.
