Maybe you should elaborate instead of just dropping this remark. At least post a reason. I haven't hid from anything I said tonight nor insulted anyone.

And he had been drug by a car last summer. If his decision making wasn't at its very best, do you really think you have the right to judge him?

That's no excuse for him. As far as judging him, it's an opinion board, am I not free to offer my opinion his actions? His a federal government employee, sorry if I'm not crowning him a hero for what I think were poor decisions on his part with regards to his positioning in a know high stress environment, at least the way you described above.

You have consistently been making false claims. I dont think his decisions were poor.

Of course with the benefit of hindsight things could have been handled differently. That doesn't change the fact the woman died because she started the chain of events and the shoot was 1000% legal in any jurisdiction. Be upset, be mad and demand better. It 100% starts with her. A senseless death that she brought on herself.

I haven't made any false claims, I am stating my opinion on why I think he was in a poor position. I never said he didn't have a right to defend himself nor have I excused the woman's poor actions. I'm just looking at the situation as a whole.

Hindsight has no relevance in split second decisions in a world where people have been mowing down others with their car. Thus the reason the law gives zero consideration to how people might have reacted differently. Do you really think the cop wanted to kill someone that day? No cop does. It will haunt them forever. She had no business putting the cop to that split second decision. She paid the price as will the cop for the rest of their life.

None of that matters. The die was cast when she was told to get out of the car 4 times and instead threw the car in gear and accelerated towards another human being. Doesn't matter why that human was in front of her car. Doesn't matter if that human made a poor choice to be in that position. Doesn't matter if that person in front of her car was an ICE agent, a local cop, a "legal observer", or a random homeless person looking for a handout. Nothing the person in front of the car is doing is illegal in that situation.

The ICE agent's video makes it very clear that she is looking directly at him as she begins to move forward towards him. At that point her choice not to obey a lawful order to get out of the car and to instead commit an attempted assault with a deadly weapon in front of several armed officers sealed her fate. Trying to blame the consequences of her choices on somebody else is ridiculous. She is dead because she chose poorly.

Officer made the decision to defend himself and his team, and it was good. A terrible mother was making terrible decisions all day.

Then the guy who made the shoot is really dumb. If we are going to acknowledge a car is a weapon, why on earth did he provide overwatch standing in front of the deadly weapon instead of off to the vehicle's 1 o'clock?
I'm not defending the lady, she was clearly in the wrong, but this officer is tactically inept, moreso since this was his second incident involving a vehicle.

First he was not on overwatch.
Isn't 1 o'clock positioned generally in front of the passenger headlight?

You need to consider they were in the process of detaining her and were going to arrest her. Worst case for here was two felonies according to legal experts.

Maybe your confusion can be cleared up with a question.

When detaining prisoners would you surround the prisoners or stand behind the prisoners?

If you watch that longer video of what happened before and combine it with the agent's video, it becomes apparent that they had had enough of her antics and made the decision to arrest her. They were back at their vehicles discussing things and the agent who took the shot eventually drove past her and got out to video her, her partner, and their license plate to clearly identify who they are. As he is doing so, somewhere along the line he tells her partner or one of the other bystanders "Don't interfere" because he knows they are about to take the driver down. As he finishes the loop around the car, the other vehicles move in and the agents get out and repeatedly order her to get out of the car. The shooter started around the front of the car to assist them in taking her down, and that is when she decided to accelerate into him. He was not "standing there", he was moving to assist in the takedown along the shortest path to the target.

Right. Very good point. I think the law has to look to what a reasonable peace officer would have done or not done under the circumstances.

Over $1.5 million has been sent from 38,500 donors to Renee Good's widow and family. I skimmed through the words of support, and here are a few examples.

Shawn Holle said, " I am sorry for your loss. I know that money cannot touch your grief. Grief never ends and those of us that have experienced it are in a club no one wants to ever join. Know that all decent human beings in this country are heartbroken about this complete evil. We are all fighting to end this and to protect all of us from an uncaring and illegal federal government. We will never stop fighting.

Katie Formhals & Matthew Chaves said, " Our family is heartbroken for your loss. This madness MUST end. Renee was a hero, committing "good trouble", and all Americans owe her a debt of gratitude. On behalf of all freedom loving, patriotic Americans, we love and thank you. Rest In Power Renee"

Rachel Cleveland said, "Your life was taken from you by a vile and lawless administration. They are trying to use your tragic death as a tool and are attempting to spin what happened. We saw it with our eyes and won't let that happen. Minnesota is grieving for you and your family and we will continue to fight for you and our immigrant brothers and sisters. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, rest in power."

Shelley Carson said, " I'm sure I speak for all Canadians when I say that we are absolutely outraged, unbelievably saddened, and unspeakably shocked at what has been done to your family. This madness needs to stop. I read that Renee and her family had planned to come up to Canada. I only wish they had made it. Condolences don't begin to touch on this horrible tragedy. Much love, from Canada."

Siggi Bucher said, " "To Becca and the family of Renee Nicole Good, I am writing to you from Switzerland with a heavy heart. Please know that the tragedy that occurred in Minneapolis is being felt across the ocean. We are deeply shocked and heartbroken by the senseless loss of Renee a brilliant poet, a mother, and a brave human being. To Becca: Please do not carry the burden of guilt. We saw what happened. It was not your fault. Renee was a hero of the community, and the responsibility lies only with those who chose violence. Your love for her was a gift, not a cause for tragedy. We are sending strength to you, your son, and your dog Luna. You are in our thoughts and we stand in solidarity with you. With deepest sympathy from Switzerland."

Ahmed Hussain said, " Renee, your death weighs heavily on my heart. You stood up for your neighbors and for immigrants like me, a Somali who knows how much that protection matters. I am heartbroken for your children, who must now live without you. What makes this even more heartbreaking are the lies told by the administration especially when there are clear video showing what really happened. You chose courage and humanity when it was needed most. Your bravery will not be forgotten."

Collen Nash said, " My condolences from Boston Ma. This should be a wake up for America that we are all in this together. We either let this administration pit us against each other or we can be unified. Empathy is a strong word and we should have empathy for Renee. This administration is for themselves not us the working Americans. Let's find peace."

AY said, " I identify as a conservative and usually vote that way. However, I with my whole heart and so gutted with what happened to you Renee. You are a mother to a 6 year old boy who lost his father 2 years ago and now he is an orphan. Renee was exercising her right to protest. Although I disagree with her values, she has that right. She was blocking traffic and was asked to leave and then get out of the car. She backed up and drove away. The ICE officer put himself in front of her vehicle. He has a knack for doing this and was run over 6 months ago needing 30 stiches for doing the same. His PTSD should have gotten him put on leave. Instead, despite not being in danger and getting out of the way in time, he angrily shot Renee in the head. He deserves life imprisonment. I am so sorry to your family for this. At the end of the day, life is precious and real conservatives should not be cheering at this. They should be horrified. I pray justice is served and your son is okay. My heart breaks for him the most.

This right here is a perfect example of Leftists. They vote and vehemently support and propagate a political stance that puts them and their children in a system that limits their potential as adults and furthermore puts them in danger within said system they support. No sense of self or family preservation.

So, it is no surprise that they would use their children/babies as human shields as they protested law and order.

Political Leftism is a mental disorder, this being a perfect example of it.
