if one were to ask me
The look on her face as the officer walked around her vehicle was one of euphoria
She was reveling in wasting their time and man power, she was power tripping
Yup. Not really the face of someone who thinks they have come face to face with the Nazi SS, is it?
It's the face of someone that knows they aren't actually up against "literal Nazis."
American protesters are some of the most spoiled humans on the planet. They know that nine times out of ten, the worst thing that will happen to them is some pepper spray, maybe some bruises, an afternoon in jail or quick detainment, and then being allowed to go home to their safe, peaceful neighborhood (and maybe a paycheck depending).
I don't care if you want to protest. Go stand on University Drive in the cold, hold up a dumb sign and then go spend a couple hundred bucks in Sephora. But don't try and convince me that you're under a fascist dictatorship.
They weren't afraid at all. They were emboldened because they're Americans and they didn't have to be.
