I finished up a biography on Washington last night. In his farewell address he said:

"The very idea of the power and the right of the people to establish government presupposes the duty of every individual to obey the established government."

I think Walz, Minnesota, democrats in general would do well to heed these words right now.

Immigration enforcement is a clear duty of the federal government. Them enforcing our laws is not anti democratic, not gestapo-ish, not any form of fascism, nor racism. It is the obligation of our federal govt to execute it's laws. It might be uncomfortable or ugly when said laws are enforced, but that is neither the fault of the agents nor, (usually) the govt. That fault rest solely with the lawbreakers and their enablers.

When you, the state or citizen, interrupts the execution of said laws, you, and you alone, open yourself up to the consequences of putting your nose where it should not be.

Walz needs to go. Right now. Not this afternoon, not tomorrow.

Don't forget that many of the rioters creating the mayhem are probably out of state criminals.

Sure, drafts. The 8th district though is not DC/NoVa.

A 'clever' strategy would be to issue the declaration/invocation, and then within hours just get neighboring ND/SD/IA/NE to (quickly) file a suit vs. MN so original jurisdiction to enforce the insurrection act could rest with SCOTUS as they are impacted by the violent insurrection adjacent to their state borders. Put MN on a legal island, with moron Keith Ellison in charge of defending it.

I am dubious that happens, though.

What crazy projection here. As much as myself and others would like all of the Epstein stuff released, that happened well in the past and isn't going anywhere nor causing further harm or damage on our society since that POS is dead. What is happening in Minnesota right now is utter chaos and people looking to inflict harm on federal agents in attempt to what.......keep this ongoing Somali fraud happening? Keep illegals from staying in our country and committing crime?

Surely you're intelligent enough to understand that preventing complete chaos in a major American city should be front and center for our federal law enforcement via our DOJ's action.
