Apparently, it doesn't. They just bilk taxpayer money without having to do anything. They dont even bother to pretend to send their kids to a daycare, unless a youtuber rolls up asking questions.
Does Minnesota have laws regarding how many adult workers are required to a certain ratio of children? I figure that would be standard practice. More people are required to be present and the ratio is larger for younger kids. 4 kids to 1 adult for infants, 1 adult for every 11 children age of 2, and so on.
The fact that zero children were present is one thing, but in these instances where 100 or 150 children were supposed to be present, that would require anywhere between 15-25 adults to be present and on payroll.
Where were those people?
I have gotten notifications from my kids daycare whenever the ratio slipped below legal thresholds several times, and they showed up with root cause and corrective actions...and that was NOT for a state inspection, just them doing due diligence to stay compliant.
