Effectively, yes. Target is HQ'ed in Minneapolis and their corporate politics reflect the locals. They are a far left wing company but they've already been burned once by going all-in on gay stuff and pulled back from that somewhat.

If they had not already experienced the massive pushback in promoting gay culture like they did, I suspect they would have already gone all-in on anti-ICE sloganing and support. They still might, but I'm sure they are gun shy.

So Target might be funding some this indirectly by this means:

I would make the argument that no one cares about Don Lemon, in general. Black, gay, white, straight, or otherwise.

How is even still considered "press"? Doesn't he record himself in his basement? And post on his own socials? According to that very low bar, anyone could claim to be a member of the press.
