This is sad news but not a surprise. I've been checking in to his daily videos on YouTube during the holidays and each day was a pleasant surprise as he was still work us, albeit in a clear decline.

Then today I logged in to see his wife, not Scott.

Sad.

I used to look forward to the newspaper and reading his comic. He was authentic in his writing and connected with his audience because he shared an authentic message.

I loved his Coffees during Covid and just as he connected with Dilbert, he connected because he was authentic and had an authentic message. He gave me belief that others related to my plight. Whether my time in a cubicle or my team locked up at home.

It's been difficult to listen to him during the past month as his health has declined rapidly.

I'm glad to hear he became a Christian before the end.

A huge lib himself, he was great at breaking liberal's brains with logic and showing why the conservative stance was the better way to go.

Continuing to do livestreams and take questions right up until the end, he definitely left it all on the field.

I don't think there's anybody in modern American society who can replace his mix of wit, logic and communication skills.

I would agree, and I'd also agree with the comment that it's for God to decide. This idea that we can slip it in at the last second a belief in Christ is lost on me. The person who does what he wants, when he wants, unencumbered by a belief in Christ and can be completely absolved as he professes a belief in Christ all while explaining he's hedging his bets right as he passes...is lost on me, but alas, it's not for us to decide.

Not familiar with anything about him other than his comic strip. Regardless, he passed way too soon. Sad.
