Some of you old timerz may remember the Tanker War phase of the Iran-Iraq conflict, which stretched on for years.

I dont think we are going to see a repeat here. Will be interesting to see how much Iran can respond to disabling the tanker (believe it was empty, no?).

I don't see why we dont keep on attacking but I also have no clue what our inventories are like nor what their's are either.

These seems kind of simple. Announced we are going to have negotiations in one week so have their delegation ready and the next 4 days we are going to blow crap up then 3 day ceasefire. If they don't show up we repeat the process. If there's no complete and signed deal within 24 hours of the start of those negotiations we repeat the process. Balls in their court as to when they want it to end but no more half ass negotiations.

This is the only "negotiating" these terrorist understand. And even then, remember one of their core beliefs is if they kill themselves, they get 72 virgins for all eternity.

The will negotiate in bad faith and renege on everything they "agree" to.

Just so I understand, as part of our blockade, we fired on Iranian tankers attempting to leave the area (go through the blockade).

Iran then fired on some of our positions, then got on social media bragging about it.

Then we responded with destroying those sites where the missles came from.

Then Tehran says we broke the ceasefire?

That is some impressive metal gymnastics from that regime.

It's being reported that Gulf Nations are surprised and angry that we did not retaliate when UAE was fired upon. Now Saudi Arabia will not let us use their airspace or their military bases

Now conservative media are starting to call out Trump for what he's doing or not doing

It just doesn't look good for Trump right now. We need to go back in and hit them hard because Iranians are seeing weakness in our president.

A little harrowing if true that they got close enough for CIWS and "small caliber fire"
